Blacksmithing: When does it get good?

Hello fellow players!

I've picked up the Blacksmithing profession and have been able to level it to around 130 now. I can see what I will be able to craft untill 175 or so and all there is up there is more locks, traps and shields so my question is:

When do we get to craft weapons and plate armor?

Any information would be more than welcomed!

Weapons, never.

Plate mail, you're already doing shields, the rest starts at about 200.
