What to choose, what to choose

A few days untill Beta, and I truely don't know which class my char will be. lol.
I decided to be on The League ofcourse. xD
I like the Gibberlings or Elves...
Can someone help me out?
I want a char that will be able to do alot of stuff on his own, I mean not training with a healer with him in a party or stuff.
I want it too fight high leveled mobs too, I don't care if the dps is high as long it got a good defense and doesn't lack at fighting.. xD
I mean I must be able to train fast and do raids or stuff.
That's my ideal char <3
Anyone can help me with figuring out what I should take?
I prefer Elves or Gibberlings.

Well its hard to tell because the game is new so i dont know exactly how the classes will be balanced out in this game but as a general rule i would think that some type of archer/ranger would fit your description??

Beta is perfect time to test out a couple of different races and classes to see what you prefer so try them out

gibberling scouts will give you a nifty skills and a mix between ranged damage and melee damage. you can specialize in one or get a mix of both via development boards.

or you could go elf templar. i don't have much experience with the templar class, but they have some survivability being tanks and all. lower damage compared to scouts, but higher survivability.

I'll try both of them with CB and I'll try to concentrate with the Gibberling scout on Arching ability.
I will report my results back in this topic.

right now for me orc/templar seems a fitting choice for me.

me only going to make a healer, mage, and psionisist.
in that order.

healer be me first choice but....if they don't get balanced out or anything me will choose between mage and psionisist.

The good thing about beta is, while I am testing I will be able to find the race and class that I want to play when it goes live.

I intend to roll a character on day one, learn everything I can about the game and get as far as I can, while noting bugs and suggestions.
Then the next day I will spend a bit of time with the classes and system, looking for bugs and finding the playstyles.

After that its freeform.

GOD, I really can't wait.
