New Type of PvP: Astral - Guild vs. Guild *AC fix?*

I came up with this idea when I was weighing out the pros and cons between having a "housing system" for your guild on a Astral Ship.
I was thinking, why not create a new type of PvP game?
Instead of having players having to arrange astral battle themselves, why not make it an actually pvp event, sorta like Arena of Death?

How it would work is that it would be one guild verus another guild, both raids having 24 members each.
To engage in an event like this, your guild would need to have created an Astral Ship.
To avoid cash shoppers from winning, all created Astral Ships would have the same turrent levels and shields and all that stuff.
These particular guild astral ships would be designed to be larger then your regular astral ships as it would consist of 24 members against 24 other members from a different guild.

The objective of this pvp event would utterly be to try to destroy your enemy's astral ship first.
Upon dying in combat, your character would be similar to your faction's arenas and stunned for 30 seconds in the rez location.
There could be two ways to destroy your enemy's astral ship:
1) Use your Cannons and all that fun stuff to destroy it from the outside
or
2) Have a player go onto your enemy's ship to the 'heart' so to speak of the ship and click on it to destroy the entire ship. (This action would have a cast time of about 30 seconds)

To make this more fun, you could offer the same benefits as Astral Confrontation, which is Realgar I think it is. All guild vs. guild matches offer the same amount of Realgar.
So, if you defeat a guild, lets say your guild members with a regalia earn 200 realgar! Losing in this battle could still earn you maybe 75 realgar.
This battle could take place once every week. (which is why realgar amount is high)

I honestly think this could fix the current Astral Confrontation problems of one or two high power guilds dominating Astral Confrontation.
Also, since a lot of players wish they could do astral ship vs. ship battles, a lot of guilds would join in on the fun, especially since if they lose, they still earn some realgar!



Only thing I'm stuck on is how to get guilds to fight each other. A system like AC won't work for the obvious reason. Maybe your guild can que, but I don't know.

I think its an amazing idea to potentially help with the AC problems, and to even give the players what they really wanted to do for a long time, and even award players for losing.

What do you guys think?

Actually the RU devs are working on totally replacing the current AC system with one that will give all active guilds an equal chance to get the best allods.
Still killing Disturbed through the ages.
