Allods is digging its own grave. Pat 5 from Strongboxes, you joking? We were already struggling with the OPness of runes, but now this?

How can the game grow, when there are tons of other games out there which are just as good - and ALOT cheaper than Allods? This is no flame thread, but a statement.

Personally I was looking forward to this patch, Bard nerf and server merge = awesome. Allods has a great potential as it is an awesome MMO, but the P2W factor gets too dominating now. Imagine WH and the new battleground: the hardcore end gamers running around with Pat5 and all the CS items, while new lv 51s get spanked so hard that the game isn't fun at all. That's what a game is all about, right? Having fun and enjoying the game. This won’t work out when 10 % of the game population kills everyone in two shots.

Ofc F2p players with nice gear can keep up, but still they have NO chance against skilled, cash shopped players. When new players ask "is this game p2w?" they always get the answer: "it is P2W, but you can grind gold to buy all the CS items". This might work in theory, but when you have to grind gold for 1st, 2nd (maybe 3rd) mage page, epic trinket, a decent mount, 1st sacrament scroll, Myrrh costs, RUNES and now PAT 5?

Grind Fest or pay ridiculous amounts of money to play a game. Pay or grind. But hey, KoE has been nerfed. Pay.

I'm out of here. I have enjoyed playing, but this gets too much. I’m sad that it ended because of this.

Think its more the concept of it widening the gap between players and how there is a much better investment (time and coin wise) around the corner with infinitely better pvp content that isnt broken and much better, intuitive, and fun pve content.

You forget about the 2h buff. Some people will just pop dual elixirs and pat5 (and alch pot + food) and start stomping. WH is already getting worse and worse for new players because more people are geared now. New players will have no chance to gear up at 51 and will just quit (if they survive asee which is bad enough)

If the servers shut down in a few months because Novograd/Nezebgrad is the new Dead City your level xx runes won't help you.
