Theoretical aoe scout farming build

Haven't tried this, just an experiment. If u wanna try it :D http://www.allodsbase.com/calc#a30xos6f60plx7ge2gg40g4000yg41ts30o40y3tlj59c2g0000
So basically you use incendiary arrow on mobs, then caltrops em, recoil, tranq if needed, and tesla until out of arrows, then use razor rush till all mobs are dead.
Vanish is if you accidentally pull a boss or something, or get close to dying.
Recommended races:
Empire:
Xadaganian: For sinister throw, strong aoe
League:
Kanian: For exploding shot, pair with tesla.

i appreciate the thought that went into this but no, just no.
a scout in itself farms aoe well. just add a tesla/racial in rotation in addition to your single target dps.
gimping yourself THIS bad isnt worth it, or viable

i have to agree with shaek, aoe grind for scout is kinda a no no. i can do 2-3 mobs as melee now(razer rush + stalker racial), but it's a lot faster and safer to get them one by one. maybe when they give us new talents after 55+, we get some bigger aoe's

Yea, I suppose your right, you have little to none single target dps, which could be bad.
I know scouts don't aoe farm  , but it was a theoretical build. :P

I farmed well using my PVE build at lv49-51 koe area.

http://www.allodsbase.com/calc#a30x6d6p ... g4b1gg6100

I have legend astral xbow, overall epic gear, and 776,555 runes. I start off with incendiary arrow on lv49/50 mobs and tesla on lv51 mobs, run around till they stick together, after that I'll do the sinister throw and spread the caltrops on the floor, recoil and keep spamming tesla.

The key here is to make sure the mobs are kept in the caltrops area to avoid getting too much damage from them.

p.s. my caltrops is only rank2, while having all 3 armor rubies and 1 quickened reflex ruby.

I tend to think the burst dps in scouts is so enormous you don't really need to do AoE farming.

Summoners and mages can do it since their spells work so well with multiple mobs.. but a scout can blaze through mobs at a rate summys and mages only dream of, so it's really easier just to go pure single target DPS in my opinion. I personally also prefer ranged build with the two range rubies since it makes farming that much quicker.

3 for cats swifness to decrease movement impairing effects of most mobs...also good in pvp :)
r2 for swift fletching cause r3 is so much...

r1 on somersault cause 25sec is better than 45 sec on recoil :)

r1 on throat shot cause rapid shot don't love disarm and silence :)

r2 on branding cause r1 cost too much energy :geek:

r3 patience is a must.
the whole purpose of my blink/recoil combo on a range build is because i have a suddenness ruby, and also i have r2 somersault (14 sec cd), and so i get a dmg decrease buff every few sec and also a gap widener with a stun.

with only r1 somersault, and no suddenness rubies, this tactic is useless, if not downright stupid.

passive energy rubies are crap. restor is all you need, with physical reserve and xbow i never run out of energy (bow is better but rare xbow > my green bow </3)

if youre getting 50% less stun/kd/movement impairing effects and end/fin rubies, you might as well complete the set and get r1 parry. makes all the difference. (1st ALLOWS you to parry, the rest increase chance)

r3 fletch is mandatory imo. not only does it allow you to fletch on the move (no cast time), you can fletch another arrow every time you shoot solid/double shot, that split second youre waiting for cooldowns. r2 would screw that all up.

the build isnt bad, but just a few things i saw :ugeek:
