I do agree with that. I did say DPS does matter. But if the groups you are with are good enough and your clearing allods and having fun. Stick with it. Just dont join my group if your doing 10k DPS per allod as Warden :P (I know ur doing more than that hehe, but for example if it was a total fail build; which I do believe it is not)

Euro Pimp my build winner. Dual Wield. How effective to be determined on my next WoD/FoD (and ease I can find a decent dual wield weapon. I know I have some A4 green claws in bank. myabe ill get lucky and instant upgrade to blue)

I dont know if they based the winner on effectiveness or how pretty it was presented.

It should be about as good as claws can get (you'll notice it's almost identical to my build on the first page ;) )

I would personally still prefer r3 Flash to r3 Mangle because in my experience with claws, by far the biggest frustration is the unreliability in getting Unbalanced to proc, thus I'd like to boost my chances of getting it as much as possible.

Also, no Bark Shield on a melee build makes for a squishy warden. :(

I'd be wary of following that build completely. Missing stat rubies in favor of more claw damage is going to gimp your pets output, which just so happens to be your main source of damage no matter how many melee rubies you get

Also no rip in that build is going to slow you down

Otherwise try it out if you got a fod, it's a fun play style and always has you with something to do with everything instant cast

Hi everyone.

I was just tinkering around, how about this for a max dps dual wield build?

If there's only one choice for a party-related skill, which of these will you pick? Renew, AV, regen aura.

And for the combo strikes ruby, what does it mean by '2 strike combo' and '3 strike combo'?

Claws is all about searing pain. Without the acute pain rubies you're gonna have a lot of times where your tiger strike wont produce SP. Getting lightning rubies when your lightning is only once every 4 seconds (no channeled lightning) and no vortex combo, is not coherent.

Combo means instead of having to press the button 3x for 3 attacks, you press it once and he does 3 attacks (but it's not 3 attacks in one second - it's still 3 separate attacks - total 4 seconds). In theory it's meant to help you out carry out your attack rotation but in practice it doesnt necessarily fit in. [many of us thought it would make it so it's 3 attacks in one second, which would be awesome, but it's not :( ]

Ok.

I removed combo strikes and lightning rubies, and added in acute pain and battle training. Would that balance out my dps output?

I just rolled a warden reinc with a healer prog, and I'm fascinated with the idea of a paired dps warden. I really want to make this work!! :x

You don't have AE in that build

DPS-wise looks good to me though :D Except I'd still prefer to max Lightning Flash instead of Mangle (more Unbalanced procs) but I guess that's a personal preference.

Sigh, after thinking really hard about it, I settled for a SP caster/pet build. The ruby grids just synergies better, and I think the DPS output will be higher than melee. Right?

In that case, why would a warden choose to go the melee path anyway?

Because melee was amazing a few patches ago, and people can't adapt. They are used to how warden used to work and are unwilling to change their ways. Same way certain wardens still go pure caster build with storm and that kinda of non-sense...
