my biggest complaint with psionicist has just been lack of instant casts.

Changing psychic shock to instant cast with 1.5sec cooldown. instead of 1.5 sec castime with no cooldown would be great and I would be totally content if that was the only change ever made.



A bunch of rubies are situational have no use. Would be a nice place for interesting new design concepts to take place.

Other then that the overall balancing of the damage and effects of rubies. Some things are just pretty dumb. Did you know I could spend 6 additional talent points to get the r3 of ectobody and it would not be as much of an increase as ONE ruby that increases it's absorption by 5%.

keep everything the same. Just give us shockwave back instead of choke and fix the heal back to its previous form.

i think they should removed mental cleansing instead of choke and replace it with shockwave.

I don't think Cleansing should be removed. Instead change it so it heals well enough to be worth using again and replace Resilience with Trance(the full trance we used to have).

We do need a spam-able single target skill since there are important quests that REQUIRE killing a large number of mobs fast and without help. With the mobs spread out so you can't AOE them and you can't kill with enough speed to finish them off due to the long casting times. Psi Shock/Venom would be a prime skill to do that with.

what they should remove, is Mental overload, I remember when I could cast pain transfer and suddenly a healer could have 30 overloads.

I've basically quit my psi untill rework, or untill I fall in love with Guild Wars 2. Please fix the class, or delete it, so I can stop qqing about it.

Psis get a buff to Pyro soon.

While it makes them a lot stronger, and will ensure they get raid slots... I think it's entirely the wrong direction for the class. Stop promoting 1-button, and start promoting complexity! :roll:

This is what i would like to see a psi have

1/ Every 10lvls gives psis the ability to control and extra mob/player, at lvl 50 that would mean psis would control 5 mobs/players at the same time.

2/ An aoe that slows mobs/players for 1-2secs (kinda like the bard spam skill that silence for 2 secs),

3/ For godsake, psis can ENTER peoples minds, that means they can make anyone under their control see and do what ever the psi wants, etc, blind, have WASD be inverted so players would have a hard time ajusting pvping with a psi.

When you think about this class youre like "omg", but then you actually play them you are like "wth is this", this is one class that gives me the proof that the devs in this area dealing witth this class have no clue to what theyre doing.

At any moment i said that you couldnt rotate the camera or that i dont know what happen behind. Even if you rotate very fast, it isnt the same than see in both ways at the same time. According with your argument, cars sholdnt have mirrors to see backwards, bcs one can turn the head to look behind...

I would love that, much better than my idea. It could work in 2 ways:

1) The eye is invisible but stay still in one place. The psi would have a contextual button that let them switch between the eye's view and the psi's view, but when the psi is seeing through the eye, it cant move.

2) The same as before but the eye can move. The psi still wouldnt be able to move while is controlling the eye.

Other skills:

Blind Spot: (bad name, still thinking in a better one).

This would be a channeling spell (meaning that the psi cant move while is casting it). It would be similar to Dancing Shadows (Bard skill) but would affect all the party members in the area: this skill make the psi, and the surrounding party members, to be invisible (for around 5 secs). The conditions are that any of the affected players can move or use abilities during the skill time.

Could also have a ruby to make the affected players to recover some mana/energy, but shouldnt be big ammounts.

A skill like this could be a way to make Premonition worth. The player can detect enemies and make the group invisible to ambush. But in pve it also would help to lose aggro over mobs attacking them and the party members. The radius sholdnt be too big, to dont affect the tank by accident.

One of the problems with Psis is that they are designed to depend on Temporal Acceleration, which is a nice skill but have a big CD. This is why most attacks have long casting and no CD. But at the end of the day, if one want to fight in wh, for example, an instant cast skill, even if is weak, is needed.
