An equally geared/runed warden is a tough fight for just about any class. Good scouts give me the most trouble. Melee scouts will get you in a perma lock pretty much and forces you to use Martyrs Protection or hope you have Bark sheild with no Mages around. If you're fighting people who are much better geared/runed, you're gonna have trouble against most. If all equal, wardens are dangerous PVP and if not handled immediatly, can pretty much wipe groups w/ a little support.

I excel at 1v1 PVP, it's group pvp when I get focus fired that I have trouble with, for the same reason you described, wardens are indeed squishy.

But in mass PvP you can always catch an unprepared healer or summy unawares with a Morte and giggle at their surprised faces when they don't realize why their heals are not working.

If the people I'm fighting in mass PVP don't even notice their debuffs, I doubt they would be smart enough to focus fire me down first.

I don't know... Imps on my server seem to focus fire me all the time even though I'm mostly hilarious in my silly level 45 gear.

I haven't touched you yet! I'm scared of what might happen lulz. But there seem to be some evil rumors spread about you ganking low level imps(I know it's not true ). That might have something to do with it.

And I do decently in PvP, but no as amazing as a summoner or a warrior would(bards don't count), when people don't bash my face in lulz. You would need at least lvl9 runes to roflstomp as warden, the way a melee class could with 7s.

With the recent nerfs, wardens are not great at pvp of any kind. Nor are they good, unless you have lvl 10 runes. We are squishy, our pets are just as squishy, and with the nerfs on AE and renew, we lost our survivability in kiting. Plus the nerfs on the pet, make it where your pet isnt as effective. Its not you, its the class. To be effective, you will have to astral your life away, buy huge runes, and end up decent in pvp. Seriously need to fix the class. Good news is, make a bard, have your cat stepping on your keyboard, and you will never lose. Unless you are against another bard, that is actually playing or has a more skilled cat.....
