With a dash of dexterity and a pinch of Astral magic, we bring you the Archetype Dashing Design event! We know you have amazing archetype suggestions. Here is your chance to put your creative archetype ideas from your brain onto the forums!

This is a creative event where you will provide us with details of an archetype that you would create. Please know this event is just for fun. Archetype submissions will not be added to the game.

• Submit your event entry post in the following forum event thread by Tuesday, April 24th at 4:00 PM PST along with your character name and server.

• Provide the following information regarding your archetype. In our example below, we will use the warrior archetype as an example.

2. Available Races: (Gibberlings, Kanians, Orcs, Xadaganians)
3. Role: (DPS, Tank)
4. Main Weapons: (2-handed swords, 1-handed maces, shield)
5. Armor Type: (Plate Armor)
6. Name of Three Ruby Grids: (Powerful Blow, Charge, Jagged Slice)
7. Archetype Mechanics and/or Key Abilities:
(Combat Advantage – Generates combat advantage in battle to perform special attacks. Combat Advantage is reset after not attacking for 10 seconds or after exiting combat)
(Powerful Blow – Inflicts damage and has a chance to inflict additional damage if enemy is affected by a knock down effect)
(Charge – Rush to the target and causes damage while stunning at the same time)
(Jagged Slice – Inflicts damage and additional damage over time)
8. Brief description of archetype/lore
9. Design the archetype’s unique gear/trademark look with an image editing program or provide a screenshot of your in-game character representing the archetype using a combination of existing in-game armor/vanity items.

1. Archetype Name: Free Trader
2. Available Races: Minotaur
3. Role: DPS, Assassin
4. Main Weapons: 1 handed Daggers, Knives, ect. Axes.

6. Name of Three Ruby Grids: Assassins' Edge, Counter, Profit
7. Archetype Mechanics and/or Key Abilities:

Neutrality – This class is considered non-hostile to all Empire and League NPCs, unless it attacks them first, or attacks a player near their factions NPCs. However, free traders cannot board the boats which lead to the factions capitals. They are able to access a Free Trader auction house and bank storage in Eljune. They can talk with and trade with both factions, making them the 'middle-men' of Allods economy.

Assassins' Edge – Makes your character invisible. Movement speed is decreased by 30%/20%/10%. Using this spell again on an enemy while invisible will deal a set percentage of their health in damage and knock the enemy down. It's highly effective against tanks or classes with high health/armor, since the damage is based on the health of the target and not the user.

Counter – For the next 2/4/6 seconds, you will absorb all damage. At the end of the spell, all the damage absorbed will be returned to the attackers. You cannot attack or move while this ability is active.

Profit – Each time you kill an enemy, your cooldowns reset. If your health goes below 20%/35%/50% you will gain increased attack damage. Monsters will drop 3%/4%/5% more gold.

Headbutt - This skill will allow the Minotaur to use his horns and ram the target. This will deal damage and blind them for 3/4/5 seconds. It will also knock them backwards.

8. Brief description of archetype/lore
Free trader minotaurs already exist in Allods. They are usually found helping out the Historians. A character that chooses to become a Free Trader will lose access to a lot of the main Nezebgrad/Novograd quests, but in exchange he will be able to deal with both factions and do their quests outside these capitols. Being neutral comes with a price - both factions can attack Free Traders.

Minotaurs are built with a surprising array of stealth attacks, however they can spec into pure DPS instead. They don't make good tanks. The Assassins' Edge ability is meant to give them a chance to close in on an enemy unseen, where they can then unleash a series of stuns and counter abilities to prevent the enemy from attacking effectively. Their weakness would be ranged classes that can keep the Minotaur kited, such as scouts or mages, but if the Minotaur gets close enough he should deal considerable damage. Similar in concept to a Melee Scout, it hits hard and dies fast.

I made this banner in Photoshop. The logo is the emblem of the Free Trader Minotaurs. The two stripes on the flag represent the two factions and the Free Traders neutrality. You can click the image to see an older version (without the skulls). Obviously minotaurs already exist in the game, I'll try and post a screenshot of one of those as well.

I'll have to come back and edit for part 9 of the event but here are the first 8 requirements.

1) Elementalist
2) Gibberling, Kanian, Orc
3) DPS/support
4) Staff, Dagger, Paired Fists, Offhand
5) cloth
6) Elemental blast, elemental shield, Strengthening element
7) Summoning spells for the various elementals in the game as pets. Many of their attacks change in effect depending on what element they have summoned.

    Elemental blast hits target with an energy ball filled with the currently summoned elemental's power(fire = DOT, earth = chance for knockdown, ice = slow debuff, water = drains target MP/energy, wind = chance for stun,

    Elemental Shield creates a shield of elemental energy to absorb damage and discharge a 2ndary effect(Fire burns the attacker, Water converts some absorbed damage into MP, Earth absorbs extra damage, Wind has a chance to stun or knock-back, Ice has a chance to freeze).

    Strengthening element is a party buff(Water = faster MP/Energy regen, Earth = +Def, Wind = +Movement or +attack speed, Fire = +attack, Ice = ???
8) Mages that have learned to become one with nature and call on elemental spirits for help.

5. Armor Type: Plate Armor
6. Name of Three Ruby Grids: Fabled Armor, Plume of Ages, Unyielding Devotion
7. Archetype Mechanics and/or Key Abilities:

Augmented Armor - The Onion Knight periodically gains magical augmentation individual pieces of armor, resulting in higher stats, based on certain proc chances, including inbound damage, outbound abilities, or randomly in combat. Augmentation locations consist of Helm/Chest/Arms/Legs, each resulting in a 5% stat increase. Full augmentation results in an additional 5% stat increase. The chance for individual proc can be modified by rubies, and the time of the augmented armor can also be extended. Augmented Armor stacks. can also be used to power other abilities. Different augmentations provide different benefits when used.

Weeping Weapon - The Onion Knight's weapon has the chance to inflict sadness upon its target, resulting in distorted vision and movement speed for X seconds. There is a hard cooldown.

Fabled Armor - All stacks of Augmented Armor become Fabled Augmentations. These Fabled Augmentations each increase stats by 10% for a period of 10/20/30 seconds. In addition, a full Fabled Armor set yields Fabled Knight, increasing stats by an additional 10%, replacing the Full augmentation buff.

Following this, the Onion Knight's Armor loses the ability to gain Augmented Armor for 30 seconds.

Plume of Ages - The Onion Knight becomes protected by a magical plume. Toggled. Armor score becomes Poison/Holy/Magic. Lowest/Middle/Highest Resist becomes Armor Score. Increasing the rank of the Plume adds to the modification.

Unyielding Devotion - The Onion Knight plants a shield into the ground and becomes unable to move. The plume of the Onion Knight emanates a sweet scent, attracting monsters to him, after a period of time, the Onion Knight lashes out, attacking mobs and inflicting a passive threat generation buff on each mob for a certain period of time.

3. Role: (AOE DPS, Tanks with AOE Defenses)
4. Main Weapons: (Paired Weapons, 1-handed Weapons + Shields)
5. Armor Type: (Elemental Armor)
6. Name of Three Ruby Grids: (Elemental Wave, Fierce Blow and Elemental Wall)
7. Archetype Mechanics and/or Key Abilities:
(Elementals Wave is a big AOE damage based on the element of the player, depending on the Ruby grid can have some stuns)
(Fierce Blow is a Melee attack that can be improved by Rubies and can be enhaced to add DOTs, includes a Charge Ruby)
(Elemental Wall is basically the defense Ruby grid and can have AOE defense rubies that can help other members increase their Block, Dodge and Parry, the Aggro control is also included on this ruby grid)
8. Brief description of archetype
It all began when Kanians managed to control the Elementals from BigStones, a relationship grew from there and Empire didnt want to stay behind, soon we discovered they had their own tactis and abilities wich put to a good use could help on battle, so each race developed a good relationship with the race at hand (Empire focused on Molten and Stones Elementals and Kanian on Water and Ice Elementals).

Well the gear from this class is completely new, and their look only adds minor details to their design, for example, a gear could add some special glow to a Molten Elemental or even add Fire on his hands... of course each gear would look different depending on the elemental type (Molten, Stone, Ice and Water)

3. Role: Supporting Xenu
4. Main Weapons: 1H offhands and wands
5. Armor Type: Cloth
6. Name of Three Ruby Grids: Tom Cruise, John Travolta, Thetan
7. Archetype Mechanics and/or Key Abilities:

Volcanic Explosion - Free's Souls from target volcano to assist the scientologist.

Paycheck - Scientologist may check the mail every 12 hours for money from tom cruise.

Conversion - Converts Target enemy in to a scientologist to assist the scientoligist fight.

Thetan - After paycheck is used one may increase ones thetan level by 1 for 24 hours increasing all stats by 5.

Eternal Follower - Will live until the spaceship takes the scientologist away.
8. Scientologists were created during patch 3.3 when the beast in the volcano of the Kingdom of elements was freed, Upon being freed bards were eliminated as the most OP class and were written in the history books. Fallen Scientologists are often seen roaming yazes shard supporting demons and attempting to free the souls Xenu did not want freed.

Main Weapons: Daggers, Swords, Fist Weapons, crossbow
Armor Type: Leather
Name of Three Ruby Grids: Invisible, vanquish, Thief
Archtype Mechanics and/or Key Abilities: Duel welding - is their specialty, Sneak attack - that allows them to strike first without being seen, Slide of hand - allows them to rob their humanoid opponents before attacking them but this is a skill build and allows a chance of being caught. They have an agility boost that makes them hard to hit. Silent step - they can stealth out of combat to explore the area, rob people, and sneak in the first attack.
Brief Description of Archtype/Lore: The continuous battle between League and Empire calls for drastic measures where heroes are for honor and glory, like any war foul play is sometimes needed. There comes a time to train those willing to kill using whatever means necessary. Assassins are trained in the martial arts to get the job done leaving no trace they were there. Trained killers with a touch of greed guarantees a successful slaughter for the right price. They steal from their victims leaving no valuables to go to waste and report back to their factions rulers for loyalty binds them. Whether a Kanian serving the light or Xadagnian serving Yasker.

Role:(CCtank,CCcaster)(int. User)

Main Weapons:Shield,1hand,Wand

Armor tipe (plate,leather(head and chest can only be leather))

Name of three Ruby Grids:Mud Pool,Naturalist Deffense,Creeper

Mud Pool( the CC grid) creates and area of efect slow which increases in range and amount of slow each lvl.its basic range is 30yards, range increase +15/+30/+45yards and bonus slow is added each time.The closer the targets are to the caster the stronger the slow is and the futhure they are the weaker the slow is.If the targets get 10 yards or less away from the caster they are stuned for 1 sec.
Cooldown:3 min.
Lasts:15 sec.
Casttime: 3,5/3/2,5 sec.
Naturalists Deffense(the tank grid) is a AoE thount with a 15 yard range in a cone of 160o.The aprentice gains +65% armor +20% nature resistance and has his holy resistance and elemental resistance decreased by 20%.
Cooldown: 2 min.
Lasts: 7/9/11 sec.
Casttime:none
Creeper(the caster grid) is a pet that is called upon by the Apprentice witch rests on his back when he is attacked the first 3 enemies are feared,1st for 3 sec, 2nd for 2 sec,3rd 1 sec each increased by 1 sec every spell rank.
Cooldown:2 min
Lasts:3 min.( if not activated)
Casttime: none

Archetype Mechanics:
He will have low cooldown on spells exept for the rubie grid spells,main spell is a instant earth based attack somethign like a earth spike dashing from the ground its a high mana cost skill which aplies a stack,every 4th stack the target will be knocked down the stacks are consumed and the Apprentice regains 5% mana.He will have spells that increase his and decrease the threath lvl of his alies.
Aside from using earth tipe spells he will hawe few holy tipe based deffensive spells and 1 self heal(just enof so he is sutainable),but still mainly a nature tipe class.He will also have 3 pets(none that will like walk aside him or something because its not a recreation of a summoner/warden.They will all be on his back all the time)
1st is the Creeper
2nd Sleeper:increases Appreantices mana reg by 8%/10%/12% while it is active. Cooldown: 1min. 30 sec. Lasts:10 sec. Casttime: none
3rd Binder: puts 5stacks on the caster each time he is attacked he consumes 1 stack which increases all his resistances by 5%. Cooldown: 1 min.30 sec. Lasts:10 sec. Casttime:none
And ill give you a sneek peak at his 2nd AoE CC spell...Rocks Charge: All the targets in front of him in range of 10/15/20 yards will be pushed back 15 yards and knocked down for 1/1,5/2 sec
Note: His CC spells DONT work on red rings
8.Lore:
Since time was mesured young and gifted Elves and Arisen have been taken from there homes and brought to an undergroung school of magic run by Timberbraid the Treant Leader(boss in DW).This school is aproved and funded by both Great Mages in hope of creating an Elite group of solders who will be used in the Great War To Come an epic and last battle between the League and the Empire.Both sides needed tanks that can surrvive the head-on attacks of the enemy.If they are coming up from under the ground something BIG is beeing ploted...soon...

Anyways...
Archetype Name: Student
Available Races: Kanian Elf Gibberling Orc and Arisen (No Xads, they are just to smrat already ;) )
Role: DPS/Healer
Armor Type: Cloth and Leather (20+)
Name of 3 Ruby Grids: Study | Punch | Bully
Archetype Mechanics and/or Key Abilities
Fatigue - As you attack you recieve fatigue. This increases the cast time of certain abilities.
Bully - Bullys the target, making them fall into a trance of which they will cry and be distracted from any enimies. This is cancelled by attacking the target. (10 sec cooldown)
Study - Increases the damage done and healing recieved by all Party Members. This decreases your hp by 5/10/15% however.
Punch - Punches the target, Knocking them down.
Rest - You rest, removing all fatigue and increasing damage done by 10 seconds.
Breif Decription of Archetype Lore:
The Students of Sarnaut are the newest recruits to the armies, they are learning the abilities of the classes they wish to become.
To become the great soldiers of their faction. They still must study and be wary of their school life. Some Students may become scholars
in certain areas of combat as they progress through school and graduate. They can specialize in Melee or Magic combat. This is due to
attending school and having to follow instructions of every professer in each area of combat.
