I don't mind balancing them out, and I'm all for that. But switching them?

I would think a CS item that would allow the option of choosing one of the possible class racials within a particular archetype will open up PvP and allow builds to diversify a bit. It would be a popular CS item and a source of income for Gpotato, while offering players another way to customize their toons.
I mean shouldn't using a class costume from a different class undermine the very definition of the word
class costume?
Reincarnation and Progenitor shared skills already opens up more skill customization and takes down some barriers between archetypes, I merely want to see the same thing happen between classes and their racial skills.
You're comparing a vanity, that can harmlessly be available to anyone, with a mechanic that affects players. Right now, the only way this game can say it has 32 archetypes is that each archetype has different racial. If all racials were available to all races in a way, this defeats the purpose of the archetype system.
However, I would love the racials to be balanced and expanded upon. There should be more diversity between an elven paladin and an orc reaver. One skill just doesn't cut it.
