Usually they begin after maintenance, and end after the next week's maintenance.

They typically last a week in most cases and are not tied in with maintenance. Which will be true of this one.

I just bought one of these trinkets (the blue one).

Seems pretty cool! The perks seem to apply automatically.

Does activating the trinket do anything other than initiate the 60s cooldown?
