It's a luxury the vast majority of warriors don't have and will never be able to get.

Yeah, I pretty much always use my nightstrike in pvp. It's nice being able to not only close the gap between kiters with a stun ready, but also teleport to an enemy 40 yds away if you get locked down by a few ppl in one spot..
Sometimes it's kinda annoying tho, cus it ports you and changes the direction you're facing sometimes.

Don't get your hopes up - they make Solid Defenses further away and give us rubies that increase the duration of Jagged Slice for 1, 2 and 3 seconds for each ruby after a "finishing blow" or something. Given that JS ticks for barely anything these days, not sure spending 3 rubies for 3 extra seconds of JS is worth it.

I'll write a more complete response later, when I have more time, but for now I'll leave you guys with a few thoughts thoughts:
- First, @OP, melee scouts are extremely easy for an equal-gear warrior to kill. They do us the favor of staying within melee range at all times! Sure, they have anti CC rubies and agility rubies etc... but if you're quick enough to KD them and get a big hit off, they're done. Orc racial makes this easy. They're super squishy. I fear ranged scouts a lot more.
- Second, warriors are the class which has been changed the least since the beginning of this game. Sure, our ruby grids are a total cluster-I have a potty mouth. But we've remained relatively untouched and strong every single patch. Sure, you might like a change, but be careful what you wish for... I'd rather remain untouched and a bit weird than get owned like paladins.
- Third, skilled / geared warriors can top both single-target DPS and AOE-dps meters. Warriors smash AOE dps, and on Ascendancy raid boss DPS meters, we're frequently at the top.
- Finally, in PvP we absolutely wreck many other classes. Sure, we might lose 1v1s against a Bard, Warden, or maybe a mage. But in mass PvP I believe we're one of the top classes. We're tankey, have anti-cc rubies, and hit like a truck. I have no reinc skill, and no nightstrike talisman, and I don't fear any class in PvP except Bards and Wardens with Nature's Grip.
You guys brought up a lot of valid points - especially artocys and rezardi. I guess our class has been hurt a lot over the past couple patches, but we're still strong.
Also, a lot of problems are solved by a good reinc skill. I'm working on the scout teleport right now because it suits my play-style, but I imagine that Paladin charge (has a nice kd) and TK-Pull (stun+kd) would be better. Having another gap-closer is invaluable for us in PvP.
