WH leges rock. No need to farm gold or kill some boring bosses.

Meh, back on topic There are rubies and talents which are Clearly for pvp alone and serve no real purpose in pve. If you really believe frightful presence is useless then you are probably one of those summoners who just throw your gear and runes at an enemy and have no clue how to Kite, Move around and use other abilities.

If you try to argue you are a kiter then you would use frightful presence.

Im a PVE FH Spec summoner and even i know the values of frightful presence.
Without the proper CC Timing, The proper CC Cycle and the knowledge of when to use your abilities and which rotations. You wont be able topvp period. One on one or otherwise. If its a true one on one for example you would know not to waste 3000 mana on Volatile infection. Its a waste and will get you killed. You would know to use Helion crush, Then Neurotoxin, Use an acid bolt or Life tap, Then at 3 stacks of neurotoxin fear, get in 2 more acid bolts / Life taps. If your xadaganin you can use your racial after your helion has charged so that right after neuro stun Helions Crush is back up. If they are a warrior they will charge you. But you know to run clockwise to avoid their charge. Frightful presence can fear them away or you got the talents / Rubies invested in it and you can Fear again while adding more neuro stacks. Even if you dont have the rubies for it at any unexpected Time an enemy may use The martyr abilities / other skills to break your cc lock. Frightful presence is a great way to Peel that annoying tank / melee scout off of you. And bait that pali into using his fear break early.

We are by no means burst damage. And any ability that gives you 2 seconds time (The exact time it takes to cast another spell) Is the difference between a good summoner, and a dead one.

lol every fight seems like an endu fight if youre fighting enemies with higher runes :lol: but i can manage :lol:

I fail to see a valid response there aside for you trying to troll. You were amusing at first, but now you're just plain boring. Post proof or get lost.

Concerning Frightening Presence rubies, unless you're standing still and waiting for people to hit you (good idea when fighting complete noobs or sniping, bad idea when fighting anyone with any pvp experience, or when you're spotted) it increases your survivability. When combined with Catalytic Blood on good acid builds, it can add a rather entertaining amount of time where people are down for the count.

On a similar subject, I've recently begun considering the Willpower vs Conviction balance on my character for pvp. Persistent Willpower food is pretty much a standard when you want to fight seriously, and boosting Conviction by some 60-80 points on average would give a nice chunk of an advantage, even over that. On good timing (trinket + conviction elixir, yes, elixir) you should be able to hit rather pleasant crowd control numbers. I don't know about you, but I like my opponents running for 10+ seconds in fear, only to be hit by an extended stun from neurotoxin, syphoning fever, and then for great justice, another fear. All the while, dps flies.
This approach even serves as a valid counter for the bard cc immunity. Ballade, for all its power, has an opening that can be exploited. Use a cheap cc to crack it open, if it doesn't instantly refresh, drop a heavy one in. If it does, immediately repeat neuro spam, and follow up with explosion on 6 seconds, right after the counter for refreshing Ballade ends. Follow up with fear.

However, against high willpower builds (Healers, I'm looking at you) this approach would merely provide equal chances.

Hmm, Skypirate, a question for you, since you play a FH summoner. Does Unstable Antidote (with rubies) dispel Requiem debuff? I've been quite curious about that, but haven't had the opportunity to test it(or was simply too lazy to do so).
