No it would make it more even, nezeb empire are currently more powerful and more ahead in pvp than their leagues, having them in the same big group as imp tensess would make it more fair for imps in general against tensess+nezeb leagues.

I know a lot of tensess leagues wouldnt want the merger so that their softy easy going lives in pvp zones arent affected by nezeb imps hungry for more lig targets.

Think about all the players that would jump [I Have a Potty Mouth] and join the more powerful guilds on Nezeb, like Mercenaries and Ascendancy.
Mashing the two servers together will COMPLETELY throw of any chance of guild balance we currently have.

There will hardly be any way for a new guild to get created with all the more advanced players wanting to join guild further ahead.
Guild balancing would just be completely destroyed in the process of a server merge.

It will still be Mercenaries vs. Ascendancy, except now it would be Mercenaries vs. Ascendancy for all of Allods NA instead of just nezeb.

A lot of players, given the chance, will jump ship towards those guilds to get more out of the game.
Thinking of balancing with Faction vs Faction is silly, since it should be Guild Vs guild balancing.

Entire population will be screwed if the powerhouse Nezeb guilds join our Server to make one server. Our top guilds such as Valiance, Chaos, and WarSong will most likely become 3-6th on the charters, not to mention possibly members from those guilds jumping to join the more powerful guilds.

Server merge would only add more strength towards Mercs and Ascendancy, and they will still be top dogs while the other guilds will slowly be destroyed.

Like I said, only possibly guilds I see surviving from Tensess is :
Valiance
Warsong
Chaos
Reborn

Even then those guilds will have players jump ship.

I'm a recent Tensess convert actually, I took a break from my Nezeb player. I would be opposed to this, the simple fact is that Nezeb players in my experience are more hardcore. There are two super guilds and in all honesty with a server merge no one would challenge them, many guilds have tried, all of them have failed, the only people who would benefit are the super guilds. Plus a crap ton of drama would come over, say some Chaos went to Ascend, they would take their hatreds and they would adopt some as well.

All in all I don't think it's a good idea, the super guilds would get bigger because (no offense) but they would cream the Tensess super guilds. From their it would be "if you can't beat them join them"

As said in survey - Overpopulation, inflation, drama, and unwanted power struggles between guilds. Empire and League is just starting to feel equal in terms of power and they still want to sweep Tensess under the rug. Server merging will not FIX any problems, it will just combine two problems in a half-assed attempt to fix what Gipat had done, and probably cause even more issues in the end.

PS -- I'm meeting a lot of new players on my second reincarnation. Even at 3am PST. Give our server time to grow with this new patch.

im surprise with the number of people opposing this.
IMHO the player base of allods na is not that high a merge can solve the whole population issue.
Concerning the power shift and the drama that was mention. No doubt it will happen and tension will be there between guilds but its all for the best. To me the drama won't be much of an issue. Its not like there aren't any drama in Tensess.
Increasing the high skilled player from both server also helps improve the overall PVE and PVP scene. Since there are competition.
Just my opinion though. Just saying its not as bad as everyone above think about the merge.

EDIT: EU merged too. Thinks most of the people is happy with the merge.

The problem with the people in Tensess.
1. They'll look for guild with the most realgar (Looks at the top 5 Guilds in AC->
Once a guild drops out of it they will cause drama and find greener pastures)
2. They'll look for guild with Instant Astral Parties (They want to make it
feel like their entire guilds are obligated to find parties for them all
the time, they all wanted it on a silver plate they never created)
3. Guild with the most freebies. (If a guild can kill more bosses in GT and DC then
applications will start pouring in)

There's no such thing as loyalty for 80%-90% of the population. They don't wanna fight
difficult fights since they all wanted an easy life w/ no struggles. They hate losing but rarely works for it and then pours all the blame on all their officers. They will count all their contributions without deducting even a piece of all the benefits they received. They hate to build or rebuild their own guilds, they want to overload something that's already standing until it collapses under its own weight. Then jumps again to the next tallest building

So if ever Merc and Ascendancy will win they'll all jump hop to those guilds. The good side with the server merge however is the higher chances of a more balanced faction and more active PVPs between every zone. In Asee Teph for example there will be like 10 leagues vs 2-3 imps in Tensess. I don't know if this changed over time but its
boring to be on league.

I have to agree with all that Zero posted.

I am from Nezeb, and I have not voted in this thread just to make it clear, I was just very moved by what Zero wrote.

I'm from Pheonix and recently we've had maybe ten to a dozen people leave us and join Mercenaries. Overall through our history of existence we probably have well over a raid's worth of former Pheonix in Mercs at this moment. It's always a tough loss when people hop to another guild, that is stronger and can offer more realgar/raid bosses/endgame opportunities - however it's always more about focusing on those who stay rather than those who leave. My guild will go back to what it has always done, which is push through adversity, shake off the bruises and work hard towards improving ourselves and the guild.

For most guilds I would say a small minority are loyal and the rest are about what you can do for them NOW. As Zero pointed out people want to reap the benefits without working for it. It's easier to join an established guild rather than help build one from the foundation up. It's easier to take than to give, easier to get help than to give help.

Now I've met people like Zero described - those who count every grain of realgar they get and also look at the plates of others, those who whine about A4 parties but never put in the effort to improve their gear and befriend their guildies, those who want to get into as many raids as possible but can't be bothered to put in the effort to help organize/coordinate them. These are undoubtedly the people you will lose to the stronger guilds, as their loyalty extends only so far as the benefits they receive. Who wants them anyway?

If a merge is to happen, undoubtedly some Tensess League guilds will lose people to Mercenaries and some Tensess Empire guilds will lose people to Ascendancy - but do you really want people who are looking for the easy way out in your guild anyways? What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and in the long run, having people who are tenacious, loves to fight for what they get, and never backs down will be good for your guild environment.

Whether a merge happens or not I'll still be happily working hard for Pheonix - the people there I consider my friends and they keep me going. Although if a merge DID happen I would like to meet Zero, haha. Voices all the things I have felt about this game and guilds for a LONG time.

i would honestly prefer them doing a server join promotion lol, seen other games do it and it was just to boost specific populations w/ bonus prizes/rewards and xp bonus on so new players can get started.

besides tensess players would most likely get dommed by nezeb just because more groups/gear on everyone over there more pre-patch gt relix for bonus stats, higher lv guilds for better regalia, diff ah prices, gem shard prices and smashing 2 servers together would cause inflation, grinding spots become more difficult to find which probably would just cause some tensess peeps to quit. lol
