Still haven't found any effective way tomake myrrh besides the 80 battle emblems for 200g which isn't exactly worth it time spent vs reward either.
Dailies are a horrible joke and yeah, I gave up on spamming matyrskills like I used to, already had that decreased last patch with the raised cost of those abilities but now...

I mean farming to use protection once can take quite a while with current droprates...

And I gave up on refining all together for now, I mean come on green + green and it's taking more than 2 tries if you don't use realgar to make somethin that can barely compare to l3 myths?

Nah thanks, I'd rather wait for deeper unlocks and use those drops.

After this patch I no longer use Martyr's skills.

1. Decrease Myrrh usage by 50-60%
2. Make it so the goblin in Purgatory sells Myrrh.
3. Reduces the idiotic price on Myrrh in Item Shop to 3-4 gpots.
4. Reduce the waiting time to resurrect in Purgatory from 1 and a half hours to 30-40 minutes at max level. I mean, do you want people to play the game or not? :|
5. Would be nice if you made all martyr's skills free in Battlegrounds... that way everyone can do their best and not expect others to get the win for them.
6. Give us the damn old June Catacombs back... The new one sucks badly unless you're a Mercenary/Ascendancy. And come on... it barely lasts an hour... :?

To justify the cost of myrhh and balance the myrrh and food cost... they increased the price of romantic gift from 25 gpots to 75 gpots.

GG gPotato....

People are spending more on Romantic Gifts and not buying Myrhh, lets jack up the price on Romantic Gifts by 200% considering the supply we have.... oh wait... there is unlimited supply....

just proves they haven't abandoned the Gipat-mentality. it keeps on sneaking back in when you least expect it. and it's they that suffer from it, not us. We always got GW2 soon if this one fails like the pre-3.0 patch :s

managed to farm a stinking 500g last week (wut made that in one day pre-3.0  ) and spent it all on myrrh and $%#! that doesn't give me anything useful... fun :|

I've already noticed deflation on Nezeb Empire's economy.

This.

If AH/gemshard prices drop sharply because people have a lot less gold, then I'm okay with whats going on atm.

The gold sink explanation isn't valid.

Theres no need of a gold sink when nobodys able to farm gold anymore.

Yes, this. I don't know about the imp side but league the price of gpots was 4-5:1 and is now creeping down closer to 3.8-4:1. As much as it kills me to say it this has been an effective way to combat inflation. It still hurts every time I have to pop gift on a last boss though. As far as I can tell the cost of myrrh is really the only thing preventing gpots to hit the 6-7:1 range we were heading towards before 3.0. This is helping new players which is the only real benefit at the moment and I'm sort of willing to accept these prices now.

(Something in the range of a 75% decrease in cost from the rank 2 skills would be nice anyway though :) )

Game has too many goldsinks and not enough ways to make the gold back without being a 24/7 chinafarmer, merchant AH exploiter, or CS ho.

Title of the Great = 32k gold
Refining = 200 gold per refine minimum
Myrrh = insane amounts of gold per use

And that's just off the top of my head!
