Crit Chance Ruby

I was wondering if the crit chance rubies give an 100% chance to crit. i got them all and it says i have a 100% chance to crit so I decided i would no longer need luck and now my luck is around 20%. i was wondering how this works because now it seems i dont crit often but i have the rubies. should i still get luck? wont this just give me a pointless amount of crit since i have the rubies? help would be appreciated

At work so can't check the tooltip, but I'm pretty sure the rubies give 100% of your Current chance to crit. ie, if you have 20% chance to crit, it bumps it up to 40%.
Therefore, if you want to crit every attack shoot for 50% crit.

it just says increases it by 100% chance, not by 100% of your current chance to crit

Oh, I certainly wish it gave a flat 20% increase per ruby.
Having all your attacks crit 100% of the time for just 5 rubies? Yes please.
