Ok this is my first guide please let me know if any info is wrong or could be better.

I guess i'll start off with the talents I chose

Reason behind talents

I like to have Steady shot maxed out for the damage because you will be using it while DS is on cool-down and praying it resets it.

I max out tranquil just to have the option of stacking up to that 15 max

Incendiary is rank 3 because it's a really good source of DOT damage that will add up overtime

Branding get's maxed because it will consume less energy which means more double shots if you can get it to reset

Double shot has to be maxed you wanna juice it for all the damage you can

I keep Caltrops rank 3 there to be used against other players and bosses, it renders them useless for a bit so you can do some damage or run

Recoil lvl 2 used to make some room between you and the target to get away is what I use it for

Hasty disguise is maxed out because it might be a rare use but it is a LIFE SAVER in tight spots

Precision shot lvvl 1 for the knock down

Tesla arrow rank 3 when you have 3 Incendiary stacked use this

Rapid Fire maxed out 100% DPS

Intensive training lvl 3 (then it applies every 8 seconds)

Intuitive shot rank 1 another chance to reset your DS

Rubies

I started off by going for swift fletching and rapid heart beat, after that do what you want just make sure your tree looks like this when you have 58 available rubies

Stats

I go 100% luck and let my armour and patrons blessing fill the rest of my needs

What to do and when (skill rotation)

PVP tranq, brand, double, Incendiary, steady, throw caltrops, crippling, precision, then tesla after that keep your distance and just try to get your ds going while disabling them.

PVE brand, double, Incendiary, tranq, steady, tesla if there not dead stack your Incendiary use DS if there not to close but if they are use that tesla and steady they won`t last long

I use a crossbow and I strongly recommend that you do to, my runes are all lvl 1 except for the lvl 2 you get for that quest

Please let me know below if you have any comments,questions,concerns. I`ll try to get a pick of how I set up my skills until then ttyl. :D

no r3 caltrops and precision in a pvp build :shock: gl with that man. also, you don't need resto since you will be moving alot and if the enemy is not dead by the time r1 branding without rubies is off (around 13 sec on xbow) or at least close to it, you will be.

I think the major problem with this PVP build is that it lacks a lot of important PVP rubies.

Fencing Master for Parry
Cat's swiftness for Stun reduction
Smoke cloud, etc

Thanks for your input i`m very new to ranger and this is working for me in asee-teph cuz i`m only 27 right now and we usually travel in teams so you say I should drop precision and max caltrop right. Also I do r3 branding because it takes less energy.

Would you recommend any other rubies by level 51 how many rubies would you commonly have cause i`ve used 43 so I think I have room for some more.

you specifically labeled this post as "pvp build", yet r1 caltrop/r1 recoil?
for one, all scouts should get at least r2, r3 optional.

r1 recoil...do you know the cooldown on that? and how little theyre stunned for? r2 recoil minimum, r3 recoil optional (or r2 somersault)

r3 vanish is useless without the rubies, and the pathways in those rubies are such, that its only viable with a melee spec.

restor is useless in pvp, you dont spam that much unless you get lucky with so many procs of DS, and then, you restore 20 energy per proc, in addition to the 10 energy/sec natural energy regen rate.

no art of death? 30% more dmg under 30% hp? ...thats a must for all builds.

this build is supposed pvp based, yet you take almost no defensive rubies, only armor (dont get me wrong, those rubies are awesome)

parry would be a good choice. if you have extra rubies, stun reduction and dodge.


also, you dont get double shot at lvl 20 :o

its a 2nd tier skill, which means you could get r1 at lvl 5. r2 at lvl 7, r3 at lvl 10 with one point left over. (thats if you want to get it asap, and skip upping tranq/steady. what you said wasnt wrong but just a bit of specification

if you want my opinion about it well,you dont need vanish r3,r1 is enought.you put steady shot at 3 and solid shot at 1.why?solid shot will be useless because your steady will be better so you can remouve that point or you need to make it the same rank as your steady.branding r3 you could drop it at 2,its enought.

for your rubies you used a lot.i dont think you will have enought to up your build like that.also fear of death might be nice for ranged scout but not a must,you can drop that.get quick march instead,it will be way more usefull.also rapide heartbeat isnt that awsome.i tried with and without and i dont see much difference.its better to go from the top of the tree to go get you crit rubies (getting the +expertise,+4% resist magic,+17% armor)

still need a lot of work in my opinion

I do want your opinion! lol i've changed it before I had less rubies and solid shot was the same rank, in addition I like branding 3 because of less consumption of energy and vanish has been really use full for me personally, but what changes would you recommend for sure? put vanish to one and raise solid (I think it's called Intuitive shot now) Also what rubies do you think I should drop?
