how to gear up?

ok so today i just reach lvl 51.currently my stats are pretty horrible (low luck,finess in decrease dmg,hight expertise,defencive stats like endurance is scary low,low strength etc).i am almost full green from what i get from quest,drop and 2-3 good piece i found on AH.

so far i never did any astral (still need to understand it.....) or any heroic.i would like to know where to start to get some decent gear?i have done kirah reput but at 51 its not enought and there only like 3-4 part of equip in there...

All those options suck now. KoE got nerfed seemingly, l2 is crap now, and because of less gear dropping it seems to be getting more and more expensive.

1. Get frontier rep.
2. Get Cradle rep.
3. Get l4 gear

well the probleme with the reput gear is....im stuck in isle of revelation like many other because of the trial quest.....at 51 with bad gear this quest is impossible to do espescialy as a ranged scout.....red ring mobs that u cant slow,kd,and hit like a truck isnt fun at all.im trying to gear up a little with KOE and buying lvl 48 gear in AH but its still not enought so far.

there also skirmish but i barely do any dmg and get 1-2shot and ppl keep crying that person like me ruins the game because we handicap them in skirmish etc so.....overall its not fun at all...

If you have a good endgame guild, your best bet would be to see if a few geared 51s could run you through l3 then.

my advice to you is to throw 10 bucks into the game, get yourself 4k gold and buy lvl 50 greens from ah. Ah and also I would have recommended specing melee just for completing those quests, then respecing back. Althought beware, once you go melee you wont go back

yes today i tried to respect meele because i was tierd to be squishy.it was fun and the gameplay look nice but....meele definitly lack of dps....and not just a little.also in pve its not that good compared to ranged.i can solo mobs 50-51 from KOE with my ranged scout build because i can kite but with meele....i cant kill them at all.lacking dmg,getting hit to hard,kd fail all the time,mobs is freezing and slowing me....

meele is mabey better when you have top gear but when you have crap gear,ranged feel way better.you can solo pve way more easyli without losing hp so if you farm for Gold you dont spend what you make in myhr lol.

i also saw video today of a meele scout with good gear doing pvp and he has difficulty to bring ppl down fast.is dammage wasnt really impressive.i saw video of some ranged scout and damn.....the dammage they do in pvp and pve is really really hight.

i have hard time to choose between meele or ranged because i didnt see what they can really do at hight lvl with top equip but so far in pve i do around 2-3x more dmg then what i did when i tried meele.

i have 6 more days to make my choice and if you could tell me your opinion/suggestion about that it will really help to take my decision.i am more a pvp person but i dont want to be unable to farm or kill thing my own lvl because of that i also heard meele going to be nerf in next patch so....

Ranged has higher PvE dps and melee has more PvP dps.

well from what i tested,ranged have higther dps in both pvp and pve lol

Not true. Ranged still has higher dps in pvp, melee is just able to stunlock the target and deal damage while they are knocked down.
