Replacing my l2 ship parts with l3.

So what is a good motor to replace my l2 costumed motor for a l3 that can hopefully carry more weight without losing so much speed?

Also what is a good l3 reactor to replace my l2 costumed reactor? How about cannons?, I'm afraid my ship has nothing but l2 costume cannons and they aren't very good from what I hear.

I faced this exact same dilemma. Get a rare reinforced III motor.

As for reactor, I don't know if it can handle speed 3 in a3, but you could try rare stabilized.

I see, what would you run on shields? Maybe epic massive at the back with shinning on the sides? maybe just rare glits on thesides. I dunno

i have a epic streamlined motor and rare stabilized/pulsatin reactor for sale if u wan. both are gen3

You won't be able to go speed 3 in a3 with that combination by they way.

Or, with epic streamlined III and rare pulsing III you might be able ot go speed 3, but two shield breaks will overheat you

Epic reactor + rare motor >>>>> epic motor + rare reactor.

Yep. I know, I was bummed too...

You can't go speed 3 in a3 with the legend reactor.

Also, you need an a3 helm and motor

i can supply u with the rare parts u nid for a3 if u wan rare pulsatin reactor, pirate/DH scanner, reinforced/large helm, streamlined turbine - all gen3 rares. im out of stock on motors except for epic streamlined.

its still manageable to equip a rare pulsatin reactor with a epic streamlined motor, jus remember to switch to mid speed durin combat which involves shootin and breakin shields. usin max speed when cruisin in hubs wont heat u up.

wad i usually do is: when im fightin demons, im always at mid speed. once the demons are dead, i continue cruisin at mid speed and w8 for my crew to refresh all my shields, and when the heat has gone down, i switch back to max speed and continue forward.

its ideal to use mid speed when fightin demons as they flank u easily (especially when u r goin st8 ahead) so tat u can shoot them with ur cannons. even if u have an epic grade reactor coupled with a rare grade motor, fightin at max speed will heat u up fast. its a huge heat jump from mid - max speed, same as mid - max turns.

u should replace all ur 16 customized cannons with at least rare gen3 cannons. 900 per shot wont cut it and u nid 2-3 shot each to bring down a small demon in a3 and they come in wave of 3-4...

as for visors, i suggest one with aoe function. it has to be gen3 so tat it can kill off packs of small demons in 1 hit and it has a faster cd if its a gen3.

as for shields, if u are plannin to use green massives and glitterings, put a glittering at the back as tat place takes the most hits when travellin. mix glitts and massives on sides to ease heat build-up when breakin. front can be either massive/glitts up to u.
