Summoner's Way

I was just curious about the quest Summoner's way in which u have to turn in numerous gems to receive a ruby. I would like to complete the quest so if there is any insight on this quest please post it. Also this quest is 45+ i think so if you dont have it yet and your a Summy then im pretty sure you will soon.

Quest is actually 40+.
Pain in the butt quest, gotta run around all zones looking for gems. You need to have the special buff on, that you can request at your trainer, as well as the special hammer.
Sometimes, boxes come to the item shop for like 50 gpots if my memory isnt failing me and they give you 5 random gems. You can either farm the quest and do it for free, or wait for the cs option

Just to throw this out here....
You do NOT have to run around ALL zones. The gems spawn in almost every zone there is mobs in but, you can look around online (or ask in game friends/guild) about spawn maps and see the spawn clusters in each of the zones. This allows you to setup a "loop" that you can run through zone to zone to zone (preferably the zones that are most efficient in terms of spawn clusters per space), so that by the time you restart your loop, the gems have re-spawned. This is how I did it long ago without any Add-on assistance.
You can also get the Gemfinder or whatever its called Add-on that lets you see the gem spawns on a map or detects them in the zone your in or something, apparently its rather helpful but I don't know the specifics of it because I never personally used it.
