Obtaining 3rd Gen ship parts

A few questions:

1. It was said in the patch that Ochtulus and another astral mob drops ship parts... Is it 100% sure that you get a ship part after killing these astral mobs? If not, what roughly is the chance that you get a ship part after killing one?

2. What is that other Astral mob called?

3. What sectors are these mobs (Ochtulu and the other mob) spawn in Layer3?

4. I assume that L1 mob drops gen1 part, layer2 mob drops gen2 part, and layer3 mobs drop gen3 parts. Are my assumptions correct?

5. Is the new monster soloable? Does he also summon minions? Heck, we are having a hard time upgrading our ship because dens are not soloable nowadays...

Monsters Den is a daily event where you can go to fight a predator that will give guaranteed ship parts.

Other then that, the only other way to get ship parts would be Predators you find in L3, or a chance for them to drop from Sentinels or Octhulus (assuming the patch notes are correct, I haven't tested it myself)

Also, mobs and bosses on L3 allods do not drop ship parts.

Thanks for the reply... I was talking about Astral Mobs, Ochtulus and Sentinels there... So its called sentinels... I am hoping that they are soloable, cause the den is not... really a pain...

Guess Ill be testing it first on Layer1 Ochtulus...

I'm not certain if it works for layer 1. I thought those still came from layer 1 bosses, unless it was changed.

And no, L2 or L3 astral is NOT soloable. It's not meant to be. You will have dozens of demons all around you and will likely need a full team of people manning your ship to farm for ship parts like that.

Octhulus drop ship parts per kill. Been farming them before with guildies before i went MIA.

Hmm, that might be a good idea. Farm him after you run out of keys.

Oh yeh, you can also kite Octhulus seeing as they're "melee" demons. Can kite real easy with sniper cannons, just as long as you watch out where the hell you are going.
