Alright so hold on, I'm not here to rage but I am quite confused about the following thing. I don't seem to understand why in the past, they have given lightning the ability to knock others down, then make it so lightning knocks down even more with lightning link, and then completely take it away; the order there is just askew. I would understand if it went: Knockdown w/lightning,lightning link,no lightning link.Can anyone explain please?

Knock down is really powerful in pvp, and our basic spell has that ability. It says that chance is 33% on Lightning to knock you down but it goes way beyond that.

Also, I think the basic idea of Lightning Link had more to do with our damage but the final result was just OP for pvp, so now they are going to fix it. :)

Its cuz developers are dumb. Nothing else has any sense.

Instead of taking away the KD maybe they should of handled it in the same way they did with heavenly smite by giving it a cd. What's 'off balance' mean anyways, is that the wonky twisting affect that happens so much in this game?

well, much of our dps comes from lightning knockdowns, the boost to our open wounds will be nice, but without the ability to kd in pvp, we also will lose the ability to kite as well as we have. My solution: Just remove the lightning link..

Sigh...

The kd is gone, unbalanced will stay. Unbalanced is what gives you dbl dmg on Maul/Mangle...

I'm also curious to see if this leads to an increase or decrease (or no change) in the number of times unbalanced procs.


It'll make me unhappy though each time i see unbalanced proc and know a KD should have occurred as well :(

Also note that pets now will miss with their skills, so there's no "instant" open wounds after KD/unbalance every time you use maul... can be quite annoying actually.

Not just you.

But, they did nerf the crit dmg on pet spells. Might be that ;)
(and might have to do with perc and god knows if wand power is involved)
