I have to test green 2nd gen arts... With their low energy cost, they might be able to do 5 ticks, and exceed the damage of rare or epic arts. Still, this is probably trash.

Charged has e highest dmg output compared to e rest of artys, however e heat it generates is also high. an Advanced arty is a replacement for a Charged as it is 1 step lower compared to a Charged in terms of heat and dmg output.

i do not recommended to fit up all op parts but e ship doesnt have a decent reactor to support their heat. that is e downfall i see in most ships nowadays. use wad u can support and ur ship will perform better.

A Rare Gen2 pulsatin reactor (str 8412, load 2294, 107.1) is much better den a epic gen1 pulsatin (str 7274, load 1984, pwr 92.6) and it doesnt cost much gold/trouble to get it installed.

firstly, e user must understand tat helms work tgt wif motors.
instead of usin hard and fast rules in selectin ship parts, ie. u must use Large cos it turns e fastest, rather pick wad type of helm accordin to ur needs.

here are e some types of combination of helms and motors and their effects:
1. Large helm + Streamlined Motor - best turn speed makes up for loss of high acceleration when pickin up speed. once max velocity is achieved, it brings out e highest potential of ur helm (beware of overturnin).

2. Large helm + Reinforced Motor - great but still not e best speed turns when acceleratin, easier to control at max velocity of 18knots from motor.

3. Reinforced helm + Streamlined Motor - low turnin speed when acceleratin, however its easy to handle.

4. Reinforced helm + Reinforced motor - somewad e similar turnin speed to no.1 when acceleratin.

Large Artilleries are good for fast kills on young demons especially those snipers cos of its 933 yards range. when travellin at low speed, max 4 ticks (in layer 2) wif a good reactor can be achieved, however 3 ticks is enuff to kill 1 young demon. and again if u wanna compare it wif a gen1 Large arty, e amt of dmg on a gen1 large is lower den a gen2 large, so dun quote me if ur gen1 large arty cant 3-shot a young demon.

note: a Rare Gen1 Large Arty is available for sale at hangar npc but do note tat its dmg is still lower den a Large Gen2 Arty.

Glowing Reactor Crystal II - Pulsating/Stabilized Reactor II X2

Not worth the install cost, as compared with 1st gen parts. It's not even rare or epic.
a green pulsatin reactor (str 7315, load 1995, pwr 93.1) is still better den a epic gen1 pulsatin reactor (str 7274, load 1984, pwr 92.6). for those who still own Rare Gen1 pulsatin, tis is e most affordable part to replace ur reactor wif. its not expensive nor troublesome to fit up green parts at all.

to sum it up, gen1 parts cant be compared wif most gen2's in terms of performance. if one may factor in cost of installation, den one might as well use a pure gen1 ship as cost of gen1 parts are way cheap to install, provided u bothered to farm dem.

epic gen1 parts may serve well in layer 2 astral but it might not be able to last in e comin layer 3. im assumin e ppl who wanted gen2 parts are hopin to gear their ships up in preparation for layer 3 astral.

Also, I very firmly stand by my opinion that anything other then charged artillery are kind of a waste. I'm entitled to my opinion, as you are to yours.

every bit of improvement counts, its like a caster mana pool ie, e more mana pool u have, e more amt of skills u can dish out and faster regen. it cost 233g, 5 igots and 5 fleeces to install a green reactor btw, not much XD. not everyone has an epic gen1 pulsatin reactor too.

i assure buyers tat my prices are fair, if its a rare drop like Epic Gen2 Pulsatin Reactor which i hunted 2, i sold it for 12k. im lookin at jus 300g for tat green reactor and it beats an epic gen1 which is a freakin rare drop.

Time/effort (in huntin) vs Cost - Time/effort > Cost
reminder: green gen2 pulsatin outperforms a epic gen1 pulsatin

i merely state tat different types of artilleries has different dmg/heat dependin on wad kinda reactor e buyer has and his usage for dem, its ideal to pick e correct one. as for large arty its e most economical in terms of dmg/heat/cost suitable for most reactors

Well, I just wanted to throw my opinions out there. As long as your ship can survive fighting 2-3 savage demons, you're fine. I'd personally rather save my gold for gear upgrades, but maybe that's just me.
