Wondering about item shop prices and stuff these days ...hmm

Okie, so I haven't been around for like....forever. Was looking for a new game to fart around with today. Then I checked back here and saw there is a new server. hmmmm

Might be kinda fun to play Allods again on a new server. I was here from the last week of CB and was disappointed that they didn't do a wipe when it went live. Lots of reasons for that I won't get into.

But anyways, now I hope that if the main bugs have been worked out, that for once Allods may have an even playing field with a new server. The merge and a new server was something I was begging for, for a very long time and eventually gave up on the idea that it would ever happen. So... YaY! It happened!

I'm wondering now though, how much it's going to cost in the item shop. Mainly I'm talking about those things that boost your att/def (omg it's been so long I forgot what they are called). You know.... you pay like $20000 to get all lvl 10's haha. Has the price got any better? Chips was it?

Is there an updated calculator?

I haven't had too much allods experience until this summer (played for a bit about a year ago though) and I know that relatively recently a huge amount of items had their prices lowered, but I can't tell you specifics.

I can tell you that all item shop items can be bought with in game gold by a relatively recent system that converts gold to a currency called gem shards that are equivalent in value to gpotatos, which is based on a fluctuating gold to gem shard exchange ratio based on somewhat real economics. One of the reasons for the new server was that the exchange rate on Yul became so inflated that it became too difficult for new players to work their way up by farming gold alone.

i remember your avatar pic! so as a CB player that left after gipat, and came back in february i can say things better, but the CS still rules. might as well just give up on pvp right now, but you can still do okay in PVE with only moderate runes. for example, i have seen people offering 30,000 gpotatoes for 3 talent points.

still fun, providing you go into knowing you'll get trashed in and never reach the top.

ps: yes people are spending 20,000 dollars on runes. the price has dropped (no more 56,000$ for full 10s, but level 13s cost a hell of a lot).

It's actually about $21,000... But nobody has full 13s, and you can get the majority of the effect for under $300. You won't need more than level 6s or 7s, especially on a new server.

Kane is correct, and you don't even need 6's and 7's right away even anytime soon. You can spread it out over a good bit of time and even farm some if it with in game gold and buy shards. The best part about it is once you have the runes, the only things you might still be tempted to buy in the cash shop are elixirs here and there for runs if you want to do that or maybe some vanity items and such... nothing that is really a necessity

... PVP without a n extreme minimum of 7s is just pointless. sure you could farm the 200,000+ gold to buy them eventually i guess, but in the meantime you can look forward to being wasted in pvp and crap farming.

I would actually be willing to pay $1k for full 13's... but I mean, it also doesn't sound like the price came down at all. Anyways, I'm currently downloading G2 as I type this

We'll see how it is. I really likes Allods the best of all games I've played, but I just wished they created a fresh server when they went live. Then the lack of pop killed it after not too long. Spent 2 hours waiting for a decent group for every hour played. Admins refused to merge servers for too long. Lost a huge chunk players because it was boring as hell sitting around looking for a decent group
