It gives me great pleasure to introduce our Astral Scholars! These star players help moderate the forums and improve communication between our GM Team and the Allods community.

Without further ado, meet the Astral Scholars!

Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I'm leaguemiriamel, better known as Miriamel, Miri, or Meradela. I have been playing the game since January 2011 and I have been an Astral Scholar since November 2011.

On the game, I manage the guild Esperanza on the League side, and you can usually find me queued up for skirmishes or helping people through the astral. Off the game, I'm a 21-year old college student, majoring in Computer Science and Sociology, and I run a software company based in North Alabama.

What is your main character's name?
My main character is Meradela, my bard reincarnation, but a lot of people call me "miri" because of my first character.

Which faction do you swear allegiance to? League or Empire?
League, of course! I don't know why anyone even plays Empire... I mean, why would anyone be a giant orc or an undead zombie robot, when you can be a cute elf that flutters from place to place in the forests of Lightwood?

What is your favorite archetype and race?
I love being an elf bard. My character might look harmless with those kitty ears, and just keep thinking that as I take over your checkpoint, one-shot your tank with a flying blade, and dissonance everyone into dust! *grins mischievously*

But seriously, there's something about the duality of being an elf bard that really appeals to me. On one hand, we look cute, innocent, and harmless, but we can really cause some trouble!

What is your favorite Allods experience?
For me, doing new things is always exciting, and anytime I find a new allod, enter into a new zone, or do something that I've never done before, especially with my friends beside me, I fall back into love with the game.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Other than Allods? I spend some of my spare time as a semi-professional soccer referee, flying airplanes, and just generally getting into trouble.

What advice would you give to players to help them maximize their experience with Allods Online?
Don't rush into joining a guild. Wait for a few levels, get a feel for the climate of the game, and join a guild once you've made a few friends. It's a big decision, after all, and you want to find one that fits your playing style!

Also, make friends with everyone. Try to meet as many people as you can, get to know them, talk to them, and help them out if they need it. Allods Online is a multiplayer game, so take full advantage of it!

Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I'm Mikey, 18 years old all the way from The Netherlands, Europe. Been a gamer all my life, starting with my Pokémon-addiction wtih my brother (the good old days). I am an online gamer, a teamplayer and a bit of a noob at times. I love playing Allods Online as my xadagian scout is max level and ready to shoot some arrows to the... head. Besides Allods Online i am a big fan of the Kingdom Hearts-series!

What is your main character's name?
Zironako

Which faction do you swear allegiance to? League or Empire?
Empire of course!

What is your favorite archetype and race?
I'm not a big fan of fat orcs, elves or tiny furryballs, so the human race is the way for me. I don't really care if it's a kanian or xadagadian, but since i'm an empire, my character is xadagian. My favorite archetype is the scout, i've been in love with this class for over 17 months and can't really play any other class, since it's not nearly as enjoyable as the scout (for me!).

What is your favorite Allods experience?
Many. My all time favorite? Probably when i got into my first heroics group. It was very awesome to finally run with the cool kids, seeing how leveling took me quiet some time.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Besides gaming i enjoy designing 'art' in Photoshop and Illustrator, preferably webdesign which i also code for the webs. I'm studying webdevelopment as we speak and love it! Besides gaming and designing i am the head of a Dutch Nintendo website for which i write news and articles.

In my social life i love to hang out with friends, listen to music and go to the club.

What advice would you give to players to help them maximize their experience with Allods Online?
Be social, be a teamplayer, don't be a coward and dead to the league!

Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I am Kraftycheese, a level 51 Xadaganian Scout originally from the Tensess server. Allods Online is the first MMO I have ever ventured to play as my normal gaming choice would likely be anything Legend of Zelda-esque. Outside the gaming realm, I enjoy hanging out with the boyfriend/friends, photographing anything and everything, and sleeping whenever I can (I am kind of a bum). As some of you know, I may very well enjoy orange soda just a little too much as I seem to get cranky whenever I go an extensive period of time without it. I am employed full time as a Veterinary Technician and before receiving a bump to full time at the hospital, I was originally a counselor for 9 years at an Afterschool/Summer Camp program. Currently I am working there as a consultant, teaching a photography class so that the children can document and showcase their activities throughout their time spent at the site.

What is your main character's name?
Kraftycheese

Which faction do you swear allegiance to? League or Empire?
Empire is the only way to go.

What is your favorite archetype and race?
Of course I am going to say scout. I have tried a few different classes and managed to level both a Bard and a Healer to level 51, however, I am not hooked on them nearly as much as I am my beloved scout. As far as race goes? I am going to take the girly route and say Elves for a few reasons: 1. They have built in wings, 2. Excellent taste in undergarments. I'm a bit of a underpants snob.

What is your favorite Allods experience?
I love raiding, so any milestone overcome in a raid setting is enough to make it on my list. If I had to narrow it down to one raid? It would definitely be the first time (server second) we downed Sarn three days after he was patched into the game. Along with being a challenging fight, it is probably one of the most interesting battles in the game.

What do you like to do in your free time?
To be perfectly honest, I am kind of a bum. It'd be nice to say I do this or I do that, but the truth is that I don't. I read books, hang out with friends, take a lot of pictures, and superimpose weirdness into said photos and sleep when I can. Video games are played frequently and sometimes I've been known to play video games while I'm playing video games.

What advice would you give to players to help them maximize their experience with Allods Online?
Find a helpful and supportive guild and never be afraid to ask. Finding people to share your in-game time with makes the gaming experience all the more pleasant. And always remember when you're ready to rip your hair out in frustration, that it's a game.

What is your main character's name?
Citizenkane - Yul Empire
Citizenqane - Yul League (chatting alt)

Can you tell us a little about yourself?
The full name is Citizenkane, but most people just call me Kane. I've been a part of this community for around 2.5 years, and have played every major patch since Allods was released. I'm a hardcore endgame player, theorycrafter, and the current guild leader of Ascendancy.

Which faction do you swear allegiance to? League or Empire?
I swear allegiance to my guild, Ascendancy. That said, I have always favored empire. Elves and fairies are overdone, I prefer zombie-robots and steampunk any day.

What is your favorite archetype and race?
All the archetypes have their strengths and weaknesses, and I'd encourage players to try them all until they find one that matches their playstyle. Personally I prefer my warrior archetype, and I think playing a fat orc best suits the class' mentality.

What is your favorite Allods experience?
The main reason I continue to play this game is for the Astral PvP. Coordinating 6 players aboard a geared warship is one area of the game where skill and knowledge will win the battle over brute force and good gear. Dueling on the deck of the ship, guns blazing around you, is a thrilling experience. Nothing beats space piracy.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I develop indie games and smartphone apps, watch nerdy television shows, and play a few other games on the side. I play violin, enjoy coffee shops, and discussing philosophy with friends.

What advice would you give to players to help them maximize their experience with Allods Online?
The Allods endgame community is small but tight-knit. As you level up and progress throughout the game, be aware that your reputation is very important. You never know who might be watching, and a bad reputation can deny you access to many of the established guilds. Always be respectful, polite, and willing to learn. This game has a lot to offer you, and it would be a shame to miss out. :)
