Gipat arena duels 7/11

Epic Gipat arena PvP today!

Early this afternoon a few Ascendancy members and I wanted to duel each other. The Nezebgrad arena was crowded with low-level players, so we decided to head to the Gipat arena for some 1v1s.

Before long, a few people showed up!

A lot of "big name" players showed up over the course of nearly 4 hours, from Ascendancy, Mercenaries, Disturbed, and Valiance. Nearly all of us got the chance to duel each other.


Even the GMs noticed! We were treated to this message in big read letters across the middle of our screen (I only screenshotted it in chat logs). Unfortunately Pio was too busy with support tickets to make an appearance, but it was pretty cool nonetheless.


After a while things started to die down - this is the last screenshot I took. I ended up burning through two sets of elixirs, meaning I was there nearly four hours. Not a bad way to spend a Wednesday afternoon when your keys are all spent.

Highlights for me:

• Beating Lunamater and those level 13 runes (2:1).
• The 10+ minute fight between String and Nightmarious
• Dueling Cyer, Mosaik, and Hydrochlorica (Hcl)
• All combinations of Bubbakeg vs Blesnar vs Artocys
• Pio's red message to everybody at the arena!

Once I showed up everybody left.

Decided to take a shower after, figured it was because I smelled.


It was fun for the 30-45m I was there though, didn't get to win against many people, but it was fun landing some big hits.

I was so shocked seeing so many players at Gipat Arena. I was pretty scared when I ran through on my mount that I would get ganked. I should have stuck around and watched some duels. ;(

So glad this got posted. The hours spent there today was super epic, and WAY better than the low level arenas. Made it easier without having all of the 'IMPS IN OUR ARENA WHY ARENT YOU LEVEL 51's GANKING THEM' spam from the lowbies.

I hope I can be there for the next PvP like this, had lots of fun

Actually, I hate they way Allods looks at anything less than the highest graphics settings. Since my old gaming rig caught fire I've been gaming on my work laptop (MacBookPro 17"). To play run the game with 0 lag, I need to play at non-native resolution, and the high sharpness setting actually makes me notice it less. Those screenshots are actually my fullscreen resolution. It probably looks a bit jarring if you're not used it it, but the game doesn't look like Allods anymore to me unless it's sharpened that much

I used to play a game called allods on my old computer. It was pretty bad quality and laggy to play. Then I bought an alienware... Now it' s like I'm playing a completely different game.

I so hate to duel cyer with his agi elixir and dodge rubies even when i switched my patron into expertise (about 850 expertise) I never managed to land 2 hits in a row. It felt like playing against the un-nerfed bard except he ruins my hp a lot faster. I have a potty mouth cyer!!!

On another note I can't believe that Lectum spent all his effort trying to interfere with every duels taking place while making sure to not step into the arena for more than a split second. He's trying very hard to put the whole community against him. He is the biggest annoyance i've seen in any video game and he deserves a ban. GMs, make it happen!
