Love & Serenade;
I havent gotten this skill yet, but i am convincing myself to get it. I wonder;
How does it work? Similiar as Solo? Pop it up and it starts damaging? Can you still kite while its active? Some more details about this skill would be appreciated on the mechanics.
And R1 vs R2 if its worthy damage wise.
It doesn't do damage. It's a taunt for PvP and Redirect if you get Ode. You can cast it on a target to pull them towards you, whether or not they're mounted. You cannot resist the taunt, i.e. a Level 12 can pull a Level 51 using the skill.
At R1, the skill is too slow to cast properly in PvP but fine in PvE.
If the target is unable to reach you due to poor terrain, they will remain stationary and CCed like they're charging until the debuff wears off, after which they will be knocked down.
Its applications are numerous and deadly for a PvP-oriented player.
2)
Requim
No need to get this skill any higher then level 1 for PvP?! The healing debuff doesnt seem to go up when you improve this, unless im mistaken? Is the XX that shows PER stack?
Or is it a fixed amount. Either way upping it seems rather useless in my eyes.
It's more of a pure support ability, IMO. It's nice and certainly effective against taking out heals, but I prefer the CC aspect over just passively putting on a debuff that for all I know could be purified or bubbled out of.
3)
Timpani
R2 vs R3. Im guessing R2 is sufficient, even with 3-4 hits the energy difference is minor.
R2 is sufficient. R3 saves 4 energy.
4)
Overture
Cast time on R1 is 3 seconds? i Heard R2 was 1,5 seconds?
Rank 3 even faster?
R1 is 3, R2 is 2, R1 is 1.5
With Muse active, it's reduced to 1.5/1/0.75
5)
Nocturne
Your oppinion about Nocturne (with rubies, its the heal song).
For solo play not really necesarry, but would you use it in A4 and stuff?
For AoE leveling I used it once Requiem stacks were full while my Elegy was ticking. It's a good heal, but really only shines in a party.
6)
Power Chord
Did you grab it?
R1. Free heal for any build, and since it chains on Timpani you can open a PvP fight with it.
5)
Songs!~! & Marches
Which one do you use while playing? I tend to skip Requiem myself atm and mostly go with Elegy and Speedbuff on. (cant play 3 songs yet).
And what about your Marches? I used the regeneration in the beginning, but since Asee Teph im using the +30% HP/energy one.
Ballade will save you in PVP. Stops fears, knockdowns, stuns, and most other CCs for you at the minimum.
Elegy is a good AoE for PVE, when comboed with either Nocturne or Requiem.
Allegro is useful for Astral and certain farming locations like the eyes, but otherwise isn't too hot.
Depending on how your survivability is, you can get away with energy regen for pure spam, perhaps built on the Timpani/Dissonance only rotation, but the extra HP helps a lot more for the "just in case scenario."
In regards to what your buff is, you should never be casting Aura of Fortitude if there is a mage in your party, as the buff comes off of you. You should be casting Potency or Ferocity if the option arises, simply because your accidental death won't negatively impact the party as much as If your energy or HP buff falls off, bad things start happening.
