There are absolutely no plans to shut Allods down. Allods is growing and there is lots of content and more planned for the future. Don't worry about Allods disappearing.

Lol, comforting to hear.. Was a bit weird when I saw a Prius play moving here and then I went to check out Luna since I hadn't been to the website for a while and they were closing down too..

Allods Online is one of the most profitable games that is in the gPotato portfolio (along with Flyff and Rappelz). Of course it will not be shut down in the foreseeable future (unless there is a patch similar to that of the Revelations of Gipat a year and a half ago).

On a more serious note, yea allods jp and ph are dead. The game is designed to milk only a few heavily paying players rather than a bit from a large number of players(LoL anyone?)

I resent that remark. Sure, I'm a CS user, but I didn't try for the Windracer mount There are a ton of CS users who spend quite a bit more than I do

I buy a lot of my CS items from other players, like my hull refinement module and my dreadnaut.

This actually isn't true. In the RU version, CS prices are cheaper overall, but a significantly higher portion of the population relies on the CS. Look at their end-game community: everybody has patronage 5. Oh, and they don't have a free incense and mount feed quest, or free holy charms.

Also, I don't know if you were online after the most recent strongboxes were released. I happened to be up late, and watched as, for hours, people's names were displayed in world chat. gPotato made quite a bit of money of Allods that night, and not just from a few players
