Problems with addons - Please help!

I've been spent well over an hour trying everything that I can to get addons to work in this game and I've come up addon-less. Now I understand there is supposed to be a gear in the lower left hand corner of my screen, but I don't see it. All I have is an arrow and a world icon. Every time I download and install an addon to the correct folder mind you, I load the game and before I can even put in my password the game tells me there are files that are corrupted. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out and explain to me why I do not have this icon and why I cannot get addons to work. I have uninstalled the game 2 times already and I'm still having this problem. I used to play WoW and I loved addons in that game and I would love it if I could use addons in this game as well. So please, someone help me.

You are placing add-ons inside the AllodsOnline/Mods/ folder which will result in corrupting the game.

Place add-ons inside AllodsOnline/data/Mods/Addons/ folder.

I'm ripping them into the right folder. When I open my Mods folder there is no Addons folder.

It should be AllodsOnline/data/Mods/Addons/(add-on name) and the main "Addons" folder isn't there by default so you have to make one yourself it shouldn't be hard.

Well thanks for everyone's time. still haven't been able to get addons to work. YouTube didn't help any, nor did Google. Going to keep the post up just in case anyone else has something to say.

There's an icon on the login screen. gears icon you need to press it to enable them

If you are now putting them in the right folder and are no longer experiencing the corruption issue, I can help you further by telling you to ensure that the add-on is properly installed. It should be AllodsOnline/data/Mods/Addons/AddonName/AddonStuffs or AllodsOnline/data/Mods/Addons/AddonName.pak.

If you are still experiencing the launcher corruption error, then you didn't follow my instructions the first time.

We need more information to help further if the issue is not resolved..

When you unzip the mod make sure you open it up. It may already be in a addon folder. You must open the folder and copy and past from after the mods addon folder.
