My guess is that it got changed to Xadaganian because the Cyrillic 'х' looks like the 'x' from the Roman alphabet.
It should definitely be a 'd' though, not a 't', as the Cyrillic 'д' always makes a 'd' sound.
Given the prominence of 'H' in Imperial architecture, I suspect 'Hadaganian' was the 'intended' Roman spelling. Xadaganian does have a bit of cool going for it, but all those Hs in Yasker's Tower are confusing at first.
