I just found out that there is another way to go to Wandering Isle without fighting the red ring golem: doing Plan B (it involves fighting riverfolk, 75 drakes, and retrieving 75 batteries from defeating the smaller golems).

so how do you get past the golem? it's blocking the way.

figured out you will not get aggro if you hug the walls

Plan B gives you a device to switch him off

after you do the quest plan b you end up getting a key to go to wandering isle , you dont need to do the raid quest to kill that giant infront of the portal . To get around him ...just walk around him lol he wont attack you ...unless you poke him .After that you can either do the teleport quest there or simply start using the boat in IOR top right one , it's located at the same small little port where the ship to frontier ship is located .

I just slowly sneaked around the back of it and stayed out of reach from other 2, from left side to portal with the one key
