Farming a1 ship parts

Postby wyglif » Fri Jul 06, 2012 7:42 am

I'm outfitting my ship with new parts from a1 and I have a question about farming. Since I'm still learning, all of my flying has been in pure mercury sector. The allods wiki says this sector is a source of cannons and shields. So far from demon drops I've received a couple goblins and a reactor. Is the wiki wrong or are the cannon and shield drops from the allods in that sector?

Also, all the ship parts that have dropped from demons so far have been green. Can blue parts drop from demons and shipwrecks or is the only way to get blue from the allods? I'm a bit too weak to farm the actual allods so I've just been demon farming and buying blue parts from npc resales.

Thanks again for the help guys!

I wouldn't waste my time/money with a1 parts anyway, since they are completely useless in a4+.

Ship part drops from Allod bosses will only be shields / cannons. They will drop either Rare or Epic quality.

Demons killed in the Astral can drop any type of part though. Most demons only drop green parts, but a few of the more rare demon types will drop Rare and Epic ship parts. You might want to watch out for them until your ship is geared though - but you probably won't even see them until farther sectors anyways :)

Thanks kane! I know it seems silly to get a1 parts but I doubt I'll head to a4 any time soon. I don't level fast and don't mind taking the slow route. My wife and I have really been enjoying the early astral so why rush through it.
