I'm also rockin' a Soldier rank, and I've been a very active player since CB4 -- over two years' worth of effort. Allods has been 'the" MMO for me, and breaks from the game have lasted two weeks at the most. It's still not enough?

I'm not upset that I don't have a "superior" title.
But I am disappointed that my time and game support have not been acknowledged.

I stayed through the bad and good patches, the multiple scout revamps and changes; I was one of the few hundred Tensess players that stayed on and active after Gipat hit and killed our server. Yet I am still lumped in with the new players and have received no discounts or rewards of any kind, unlike my guild mates and friends. What gives?

Yah. I'm pre-gipat and play almost every day - probably a total of 4-5 weeks max (in total) that I haven't played.

I was the 3rd Guild leader for our guild and i served for over a year in that position. I passed the torch over 3 months ago now - so soldier really is surprising.

First Rank - Soldier.
Amount of time required to achieve: 5 to 12 months.

Second Rank - Veteran.
Amount of time required to achieve: 1 to 2 years.

I hope it's found to be from he char creation day. If so, not only would I get veteran, when the new rank comes out I would qualify for it

IF anything the reason that 90% of the people who should have the veteran rank do not is that it started "recording" at the live update, so if this is indeed the case there would be NO one at this rank for at least another few months MINIMUM. Also, there was an 11 page thread on this very same thing on the RU patch note forums, and how GM were suspected or caught handing out ranks indiviually to people and there was a hotfix for the problem.
The thing is you guys test this stuff out, but yet fail to research existing data on these patches from the RU mistakes and see if they were corrected on the one you recieved, I guess it is better to buddy up with an MMO based site and let them play around on it and make videos and stuff instead.
The truly sad thing about this is not for one second I do not question the possibility of GM giving people the veteran rank themselves, since I know for a fact GM in open beta have given people Legendary GT equipment to people that never had it and a dreadnaught to someone that I know had no possibility on obtaining it and one day shows up with it, and HIGHLY suspect there have been other mounts and other cash shop items given out as well in the past several months.
The problem with this is you have many "veterans" that can pretty much tell who and who should not have the rank and you didn't think it would be a big deal but it is.

You do know there are regular forum competitions where they give out this sort of stuff right, so yes GM's have definitely given out these sort of items in recent months.

This can not be accurate.

I have been playing my one character for 2 years, I consistently log in at least once a week for GT and/or AC. The only break I have ever taken was after Gipat patch, and that was only about a week. After all this I'm only a soldier? This makes no sense....

The only thing I can think of to explain it is if it DOES reset after taking a week long break, as I haven't been as active for the past 2 months or so and there may have been a week I missed. But I still find this unlikely because I go to almost every single GT and AC event my guild has, even if I haven't logged in all week, I log in for my guild events.
