I got my Vet the other day and it has an 89% progress bar on it. What's the progress bar mean? % to the next rank? If so then there was definitely a bug before because I went directly from Soldier to Vet/89%.

That 'progress bar' is what your health is currently at. That means when you moused over your rank, you were at 89% health.

More likely it is the Patronage progress, % to the next rank bar because it is so close to Patron symbol, afaik, health does not have a 'rank up' function in the tool-tip.

No, if you hover your mouse over another player, it shows this:

Class logo/ Character name

Level/Race/Class

Guild
Faction
(Soldier/Veteran)
------------100%---------------- (If they are at full health)

That % will change depending on what HP they are at, has nothing to do with veteran rank, which does not have a progress bar, only absolute value.

Been playing since open beta started, still at Soldier rank.

Probably because I quit for exams last year/went away for two months to India and Germany/didn't play for Gipat patch, though.

Oh well, I'll just wait it out.

There are 4 ranks. Last one is Warlord but you need to play Allods for 5 years...
