If that's the case, then the system is seriously flawed. I've played for 106 weeks. There's no way in hell I've missed 54 weeks.

Veteran status is calculated by the following:

Each player has a counter. It starts working from the first login into the game.

Players should login to the game each week (7 day period) and under that condition the player's counter will increase by 1 each week (7 day period).

- For example, a player logs in on day 1, day 2, day 4, and day 8. They would get 1 counter for day 1 and 1 counter for day 8 as it is considered the next week (7 day period).

So if a player logs in at least once a week (7 day period) they will continue to build up the counter by 1 every 7 days. If you miss a week there is no penalty, you just don't get the counter for that week.

- For example, a player logs in on day 1, day 2, and day 15. They would get one counter for day 1 and one counter for day 15.

Wow, that's pretty much how I hypothesized that it works. (I must be close to sentinel then because I can only count 2 weeks in the last 2 years that I probably didn't log in for.

Gonna be a lot of frustrated people saying that they know they logged in every week for more than a year.

Anyway, good to know how exactly it works then. Is there a certain amount of time they have to be logged in during a day for it to count? or is it just login/logout?

It's just not every week. It's a 7 day period. So you may have logged in on a Monday and then logged in the next week on a Wednesday. You would have just extended the time it takes you to get to the next rank by 2 days.

Just logging in with your character into the server will make it count.

Oh, ok I get it.

So if you logged in every Thursday at the same time your 7 day period would be constantly ticking to the maximum time allotted?

But if you missed a Thursday and didn't log in till Saturday, you would have essentially missed out on 3 days because your next 7 day period would be from Saturday to the next Friday.

Makes sense.
