The majority of the celebration takes place in Novograd and Nezebgrad where you will find the Snow Maiden and Father Winter. These festive event planners can be found in Novograd's Trade District and the Empire's Imperial Square.
The Snow Maiden will offer goods that can be purchased with the Special Holiday Coins you've been saving up! In addition to a variety of frosty winter weaponry, she'll also allow you to trade your coins in for higher quality ones and purchase winter gifts.
Father Winter will ask you to decorate the city. The decorations can be used for various things and the reputation you earn for decorating can be used to purchase the Snow Maiden's weapons.
During the event there will be a few new items going around, the most notable being the gifts and snowballs.
Snowballs come from interacting with a snowman that has been placed in town and can be thrown at NPCs and players. A short buff will be placed on enemy targets after being hit with a snowball. If the enemy is killed before the buff wears off, it will drop a Holiday Gift.
Snowballs can also be thrown at players with the Greedy Grandfather Frost buff to make them drop gifts, or you can just throw them at friends!

[Holiday Gift]
The [Holiday Gift] is the most common gift and can be obtained without coins by looting a Holiday Tree, killing an enemy that has been hit by a Snowball, or by hitting a player with the Greedy Grandfather Frost buff with 10 Snowballs. Holiday Gifts can also be purchased from the Snow Maiden for 2 Special Silver Coins. The Holiday Gift itself is bound and can contain the following:
• [Special Gold Coin] - Very low chance
• [Animal Masks] - Animal themed vanity helms
• [Frosty Weapons] - Level 10-20 weapons, these are bound
• [Snowman] - Holiday decoration that can provide [Snowball]s
• [Holiday Tree] - Holiday decoration that can provide a [Holiday Gift]
• [Candy Cane] - Holiday decoration that can be destroyed for gifts
• [Seasonal Items] - Edible holiday items that can be consumed or vendored
• [Greedy Grandfather Frost Buff] - Destroying 5 Candy Canes while under the effect of this buff will grant you 7 Holiday Gifts. However, if you are hit with Snowballs 10 times by other players you will instead drop Holiday Gifts for other players to loot

[Large Winter Gift]
The [Large Winter Gift] can be purchased from the Snow Maiden for 3 Special Gold Coins. It has a chance to give a Special Platinum Coin, a tradeable vanity headpiece, a bound vanity outfit, or a bound weapon. The Large Winter Gift itself can be traded and contains the following:
• [Special Platinum Coin] - High chance
• [Frosty Weapons] - Level 30-40 weapons, these are bound
• [Vanity Headgear] - New vanity helms. These can be traded
• [Vanity Costumes] - New vanity outfits. These are bound

[Huge Winter Gift]
The [Huge Winter Gift] costs 5 Special Platinum Coins. It has the chance to give a variety of vanity capes and other back-slot vanity items, a frosty mount pattern, or a level 46 rare-quality weapon. The contents of this gift are bound, however the Huge Winter Gift itself is not.
• [Vanity Backpieces] - New vanity back items. These are bound
• [Frosty Mount Patterns] - New mount patterns. These are bound
• [Frosty Weapons] - Level 46 weapons. These are bound
Please note that we discussed with the developers a variety of alternatives for how to present these patterns and vanities, however they opted to keep the boxes as they are. We would also like you to know that our support team will not be exchanging any bound holiday items for different ones, with the exception of the Frosty June Dreadnaught pattern as this is not currently an available drop in the game.
Players with June Dreadnaughts that wish to obtain the Frosty Dreadnaught Pattern can PM me with their character name and server, and tell me which pattern in their bag they would like to exchange for the Frosty Dreadnaught Pattern.

Allods has been losing my interest for months but I've stuck it out waiting for this event. Total disappointment. I bought my wolf mount in a past event for 5 platinum and I can't even buy a mount skin in this event. Needless to say I will not be spending another dime on this game. WTG Allods!
