Updated Item Shop

Postby miss_sadie » Wed Mar 03, 2010 9:10 am

We’re pleased to let all of you know that our updated item shop pricing is now live! We’ve made significant adjustments to many item categories, from perfumes and crystal chips to containers and the holy rune. These changes were made after significant analysis, review of the community feedback, and discussion with our developer. We’re confident that many of you will respond positively to the changes.

List of changes in the item shop:
Vial of Perfume reduced from 75gP to 25gP
Large Perfume Kit reduced from 1350gP to 300gP
Holy Rune reduced from 1500gP to 1000gP
Rough Dragon Hide Backpack reduced from 2000gP to 600gP
Small Deposit Box reduced from 1500gP to 1000gP
Small Bag of Crystal Chips reduced from 250gP to 100gP
Medium Bag of Crystal Chips reduced from 1200gP to 350gP
Potions reduced from 250gP to 200gP

Please continue to provide your constructive feedback to allods_suggestions@gala-net.com and to the appropriate forum discussion threads, and we look forward to hearing your responses.

Update: In addition, due to the significant price changes, those who previously purchased Allods item shop goods before the changes went live will be compensated for the difference between the original and revised prices in gPotatoes for their purchases. This covers item shop purchases from between February 19th and Mar 3rd (9:05am PST). If your account is not credited within a week, please contact: billing@gala-net.com.

New Cash Shop Prices

Postby roland_dragovich » Wed Mar 03, 2010 9:16 am

Edit: Removed redundancies from post-merge =P

Are the prices more reasonable? I'd like to think so, but I'm extremely disappointed that $15 a month will only net me 50 hours of gameplay. I can burn through that in a week.

I'd like to know what happened to Darren Allarde's allusion to some sort of payment option for "hardcore" players. If nothing comes of that, I'll be taking my money elsewhere.

Also, wtb Waters, larger bags, and vanity items - all things I know are already coded into the shop, but not available yet.

This is much better, I think its a great compromise, sometimes you need to meet in the middle. I am especially surprised at the price reduction on the perfume kit, fairly significant change.

Thanks for your efforts guys and gals.

any updates on the other items?

such as potion bundles, and larger bags? The price drops are great but im still not spending money for such a small bag or a single stat potion :(

I want the bigger items !

I don't know about Great Job, it is still pricey but definitely manageable and improved.

Bag upgrade is priced ok but the deposit box should be cheaper. Maybe a package of bag + deposit box should be made. Holy Runes are still a huge rip-off at 10 bucks a pop, and will heavily imbalance the game. Crystal chips should be cheaper and just plain cheap in general to promote rune fusing more accessible.
Perfumes are still too expensive for the hardcore players, and while the price does not bother me or most players, I do feel it is important to have a healthy population at end game, which is essentially supported by the hardcore base. At these prices, it won't happen.

We still don't know the pricing for mounts & water of life/death. Let's hope those are priced reasonably.

I still wish this was a p2p without FoD or perfumes. This game will always be gimped by those mechanics.
