Hmm, what if with the server merger, new AC isles are introduced to be occupied?

Fourth and Fifth layer isles that would allow for more guilds to participate in AC?

In "MMORPG" there's "Massively" in it. There's Multiplayer in Allods, but I see nothing "Massive" about it in terms of population, or even end-game content, but that's another subject. Having a server merge would do a couple of things, some of which would be:

º More players (yay?)
º More end-game players (ha! now THAT's the important part)
º More end-game activity (regardless of guilds)
º More end-game AND leveling guilds OR, at least, higher guilds population
º More end-game content = higher chances coming from more people to buy gPots
º More chances to buy gPots = happy publisher and happier developers
º More money (from the potential) means, possibly, more updates
º More updates means, possibly, more content (not just "fixes)
º More population, more content, more updates = better game
º Happy Face

The only "disadvantage" I could see coming from a server merge is potential issues with increased lag, maybe. Or maybe not, but it's possible. That's the only thing I can think of though. The rest is all positives, to me anyway. I say yes, server merge if you want to see a better future for this otherwise very stale and static game (mostly due to the low population, and that's the point too).

There are many ways to boost the player base for Tensess that the GMs still have not tried.

No for the merge, its not needed when there is so much unexplored ideas to boost player base at Tensess anyways.

Nezeb population is fine.

Tensess population is growing at an incredible rate.
Why would we need a merger?

Maybe my viewpoint is so different because I've read the Tensess forums regarding this thread. If you haven't read it, please go do it.

Loyalty on Tensess appears to be way worse than it is on Nezeb and people guild hop a lot from what I've read. If they merge servers "I can 95% guarantee you" that it will turn into Mercs (with the elite valiance/3rd faction/eminence/warsong players) vs. Ascendancy (with the elite reborn/chaos players) eventually. Established guilds will always win out against newer ones and ones with bad leadership. The fact that Ascend/Mercs have been the top 2 guilds of their respective faction since forever proves that. People go to greener pastures, whether its for greed, better progression, or their current guild just sucks. And considering how weak these Tensess guilds appear from the outside, I foresee the same fate for them.

1. They'll look for guild with the most realgar (Looks at the top 5 Guilds in AC->
Once a guild drops out of it they will cause drama and find greener pastures)
2. They'll look for guild with Instant Astral Parties (They want to make it
feel like their entire guilds are obligated to find parties for them all
the time, they all wanted it on a silver plate they never created)
3. Guild with the most freebies. (If a guild can kill more bosses in GT and DC then
applications will start pouring in)

So to those of you saying this merge will create more competition, I'd love to hear how 2 super-guilds getting more 'super' creates competition (our fights would be more competitive but in the end Mercs would still be Ascend's only competition), and if you honestly believe Valiance/3rd Faction/Reborn/Chaos would last if they merged with Nezeb.

If you skip back 1 year ago or some months on forums records before server issues you will know what hes talking about, and ive seen/heard of the drama from Tensess guilds.

Nezeb has guild drama from time to time but its nothing compared to Tensess or if a nezb/tensess merge.
