Nezeb GT Costumes

The thing is, the majority of players don't know that those are the GT costumes... Unless you do GT or read the forum, you can't know that those are costumes awarded only in GT. They do carry prestige, but only in the eyes of those that know about the costumes.

I get asked about mine all the time... but now I have to see so many other people running around in those costumes.

The thing is, GT costumes used to be extremely hard to get, so the costumes represented real achievement. But now not so much. Not saying they don't represent any achievement, but it's not as significant.

and Duvalia got red summoner

maybe it has something to do with character race? dunno. in our guild(on a different server) me and another xadag female healer got blue costumes,2 orc scouts got purple costumes. we got 1 orc warrior with gears costume, we're still checking out our hypothesis but we can only down kazul though. [I Have a Potty Mouth] gorluxor is hard to kill on 47 patch <_<

I believe it has to do with rubies, because that's worked for multiple of my guild members. But the GMs claim it's entirely random, and that I'm absolutely wrong.

Why not take the middle ground then?

Lets say that rubies just influence the random chance of getting the costume you want. pretend its 50-50 base, and then rubies sway the chances one way or the other.

afaik, GM tested multiple boxes at both full ruby grids and no rubies at all, but wouldnt that just bring the chance back to 50-50 anyway?

in this way players speccing for one of their costumes can sway the random to 80-90% in their favor and 20-10% costume they dont want.

ofc numbers are made up. Just trying to illustrate the idea.

i wont lie... im a little dissapointed in this color :/ saw it in russian vid it didnt look like this

for the record, i specced all my rubies/talent points into melee tree/skills, other scouts post patch who opened seemed to have gotten purple color from ranged spec, as far as i know. So the ruby theory might make sense after all

i saw vid of a russian scout who had it, and it was black instead of brown, maybe it was just shadows tho, oh well im still happy ^^ and im learning to like it ;p
