Guild mergers are rocky, prone to failure, and often result a fracture somewhere along the line. Valiance was a risky move that I cannot say was a 100% success, I've lost a lot of (some may say arguably) good people in over a year that were with me from the beginning but split off their own way. Some merged back later (several people in Invalid), some left permanently (Snakeshadow), some created their own guild (Third Faction). At the end of the day, focusing all of your effort on making up the "perfect" super guild isn't the main thing in your way. What's important is a mutual level of respect between yourself and other players. I've said it once and I've said it again, but if Empire actually worked with each other, they could accomplish AMAZING things. Instead half the time I take up Doromy I get to watch you folks world chat yourselves into petty grudges. Then you come to WH or AoD or MI and shoot yourselves in the foot.
Until the majority of Empire can put on their big boy sunglasses and Deal With It, trying to propose a serious merger is just going to end in a bigger fractionation of your side. You manage that, though, and maybe something could be worked out. At least that's my opinion from this side of the fence. Feel free to say me wrong.
