They understand that when there is demand on something that is in infinite supply they can maximize profits by offering these items at a reasonable cost and will stand to profit much more as a result. After all there is no cost to these items, merely a price.
Reasonable! I am hoping that your second scenario comes about before the worst case. I don't want this game to die, I want the Dev to look at it as something more then the generic flavor of the month f2p cash cows. Allods has the potential for unseen staying power in a f2p game, yet the people in charge need to look at that long term and plan for longevity, not a quick buck. Hopefully the community is not ignored and neglected as is the case in most f2p.
