Since I was making a long post and it "timed out" on me, I will make this short.
Get rid of the buff overall, unfair advantage over engame means in AC.
Every imp in pvp spams it like there is no tomorrow, without the buff they would think twice.
Dont need to use myrrh skills while leveling at all. Bonus experience to lvling, isnt that what lucky moments are for?
With the introduction of the new server, makes it kinda redundant for new players to join imps side on this server.
By making the faction change only open one way, this made the ligs weaker and imps stronger.

The Faction change is a joke, the majority of the geared League players went Imp and now we're stuck with blue stat people in Skirmishes vs pretty much full teams of at least legend stat Imps which we don't stand a chance against. It was a complete fail of an idea that ruined a great game, listen to your players for once.

My faction is Empire.

General overview-
I don't understand how will you rate empire strongest and blame free myrth skills.
Empire as a whole - playerbase who are capable of clearing full endgame content are in 2 guilds - namely - Ascendancy and Disturbed. Whereas, leagues are divided into 4 different guilds i.e Mercenaries, Warsong, Vali, Emi.

Even the number of smaller guilds are more in Leagues compared to Empire.

So basically - Leagues don't want to refine there playerbase and make 1-2strong guilds and willing to play separate in different guilds, on the other hand empire been the minority, the empire coordinate together and able to form 2 stronger guilds so far from available playerbase.


Anyways- coming to main point -

I personally don't care about free myrth, my guildies are capable of farming that extra gold cost with or without LM.

    I would suggest if player is flagged up it should cost myrth, in flag down it shouldn't cost myrth at any level.


I would like Experience Bonus to stay - that 10% is just little bonus to Empire faction for been underpopulated.

    Reasons-

    This bonus is given so more new players join underpopulated faction, if you remove this experience bonus then there is no way empire will get new playerbase
    If leagues are concerned about experience bonus they should change faction as faction change is available for leagues and not for empire

Completely removing bonus makes empire have no added benefit to gain players to make 'Population' equal. It breaks the logic of faction change.

Keep bonus experience for new players or completely remove faction change.

Just give both factions the myrrh bonus already. :| I agree with what Artocys said back on page 2: the skills do make PVP more enjoyable, especially when you don't have to worry about paying thousands of gold for using them over the long run. I have no objections to opening this up to the league side as well, given that the only other alternative seems to be noone having it at all.

And for those of you saying something similar to the below:

This is false. I just checked on both sides, and the exchange rate at the moment is exactly 11.8 to 1 on both League and Empire. It's not as if imps have stopped paying for myrrh completely; everyone still has to pay to get out of Purgatory when they die. Besides this, a new gold sink is going to be introduced to myrrh vendors in the near future anyway (coughDragonTears).

There are less empire than league players overall, so it makes perfect sense that the 10% experience bonus should stay in the game to encourage those who are leveling new empire characters.

...But like others have said, current endgame imbalance didn't arise because of the myrrh issue, and nor is it going to be resolved in a manner that has anything whatsoever to do with myrrh. So I'd advise saving everyone a headache and just making myrrh skills free across the board. It's a complete win-win: all your players will be a bit happier, PVP will be improved in a small but pleasant way for both factions, and league players will maybe stop complaining that its silly little things like this that are accentuating endgame imbalance.

Remove the buffs, neither side gets anything. Allow both sides to change faction or no faction change at all.

Imps did not make tons of inactive characters for a myrrh bonus... Some of this is getting crazed conspiracy theory level. Make me laugh though each time I read people saying that. Yes I am a horrible person for saying that when I faction changed, a hypocrite and my life is so much easier now but it is still funny.

My only real concern about removing the myrrh buff is the incentive to join imp side is gone, so it defeats the purpose of the whole thing which was to address the faction inbalance. As a new player there is little enough reason to start empire side with the population being so low and the limited selection of guilds to join.

Right... because no one has ever seen or ever heard from Blesnarlig,Taniipha,Cyerr,Rarvvixxen and all the other imp spies just so they can see what everyone on their friends list("Mercs" uhm.. uhm.. i mean AC opponent) is up to :roll:

so what will getting free myrrh do to low lvls that would make them want to join?
they get like 1000 myrrh at beginning and using 1 myrrh a patron move is nothing to them.
sometimes u just embarass urself in posts. :lol:

Ah because it come with a 10% exp increase

People have friends on both factions and use those characters to chat and have long before the imbalanced faction buff, they were not created merely to ensure they got the buff, with such a small community I had character on both sides to say hi to people I was seeing regularly on the other faction congratulate them for their achievements.

You really think Leagues dont do the same? you must be dumb if you are counting that as an excuse... lol
