Have a vanity slot for each eqiupment slot, kinda like dragonic relics equip page. Then make a system that merges a new cs item with an equipment item from the game to create a new vanity item.
Or something like that because there are some lower level gearsets that look real sexy and I'd rather it be a vanity item than me having to [un/re]equip all the time.
Pretty sure RoM had something like this.

And +1 to the OPs suggestion. It would be awesome to be able to get certain in-game gear items as a vanity (GIPAT WHITE LEATHER CASTER GEAR FTW!?!). Especially since a lot of people have the same costumes now, as gear is typically pretty ugly.
