Russian Name Changes !!

I really like this game, however, i have seen that all of the characters have Russian names, i would be great if they had some cool names like in WoW or other US based names in the game..and i have also seen that during the emotes they actually speak in Russian...is gPotato looking forward to bringing a change to this?? please let me know...thankyou.

Really, no ty. I'm quite content with the names and voice acting the way they are. I'm also pretty sure they're not going to be changed.

Btw, it's only humans that actually have Russian names (which makes sense, because derp, it's a Russian game). Arisens have Egyptian-sounding names, elves have French-sounding names, orcs are all named something like Gar the Smelly, etc.

First of all, half the names are the names of the real people that worked on the game. It would be disrespectful to them, and they don't need to change them to fit your bigoted closed mindset.

Also, if they want to change the names, I would love them to keep the meaning... There are some profane names. Like... Semer Khui (or Khuy, I don't remember), in the Imperial Camp in AT, would become Semer [I have a potty mouth]* in English.


*I censored myself, I used 3 words there that I can't believe they made it through the filter.

Allods is based on Russian folklore and history.

Russian names and voice acting makes a game more immersive for me.

If it ain't broken, don't fix it. Just keep the names as is. Makes it more appealing.
