The contests on our forums generate a lot of impressive work from the dedicated artists and writers who participate. But that work sometimes gets buried and forgotten once the contests have ended.

So here is a list for quick reference of some of our more creativity-driven contests and their entries. Whether you were there when it was running, a participant at the time, or simply new to Allods and looking for a collection of fan-made work, they're great collections that players can be continue to be proud of.

Contests

Allods usually has a contest going, and a lot of the time those contests spotlight players' creativity. These contests are a great example of what our community is capable of.

Maintenance Games

Occationally when the Allods team is staying up in the wee hours of the morning for maintenance we'll host a game or two. While short, these mini games and events always provide fun memories.

Thanks for consolidating all this great work for us! I was a wee nublet when the last sig contest was active and was 3 months from discovering Allods in August of 2010. Winners aside, all this work is new to me.

If I may, Gladianator's entry from August jumped off the screen at me.

This thread is depressing..

I spent way too much time on this stuff, check out that signature thread! A sig for every GM and guess what, no reward! Ohh well, that's the point of a contest I suppose, expect to be humbled And I did win a few contests so it's all good.

The most competitive design contest by far was the guild regalia design contest. I put a ton of work into that one and I'm sure the other winning guilds did as well, so you should link that one

Mmm, the only true guild regalia contest was a maintenance event, and I'm trying to avoid posting maintenance games. I might add a section for them though.

The other colossal monster of a contest that isn't listed here, which you are more likely referring to, is the Great Guild Challenge. I plan to add it,but it'll need to be handled differently since the submissions weren't in one thread, but each had their own. So it might take a bit to track them all down because I wouldn't want to miss anyone.

Maintenance games added! I guess I may as well do the Great Guild Challenge,as some of the most creative work came from that contest :)

Edit: GGC is posted now, too. Please let me know if I missed a guild, contest, or game that involved either written or artistic contributions so I can add it to the list. I ran a rather broad search but I'm sure there are a couple still missing.
