My Build ( Lvl 26) Mage (duh)

I realize I have one element. I know this. I plan on getting a second one after 30

I am ( of course ) having issues in PVP. I will not scratch this player ( Kilanar- League- Nezeb) but I will most likely restat/talent by end game.

I am focusing on PVE for her.

Can you guys rate and possibly suggest an element to go for?

I am planning on making a pure PVP Elven archmage.

Can I get some pointers on skills and equips to look for?

Also, Dagger and off hand, or Stave and Wand for PVP?

meteor is worthless.
3.0 patch nerfed its damage severely. asteroid hits higher.

r3 stone barrier isn't worth it.
r2 offers one less barrier with only slightly less defense. r2 stone wall, however, offers the same barriers as r3 stone barrier with more defense.

r3 icy comet isn't worth it.
it's a 1-5% damage increase over r2.

if you're going for a fire/ice type of build, thunderbolt is worthless.
self explanatory.

sleep and icetomb rubies aren't worth it.
icy flow isn't used, snowstorm is lolterrible, and icy grave is impractical.

snowstorm is worthless.
3.0 nerfed its damage by maybe 75%, removed its slow, and x5'd its mana cost.

chains of ice is practically worthless.
the freeze effect was nerfed significantly. it's much like icy grave now, in that if you hit anyone while they're frozen, they'll be unfrozen. to me, this is nothing but a waste of entrophies. our class is now a kill-or-be-killed type deal, wasting entrophies we could be using on comet or asteroid is killing yourself.

this is a pretty standard fire build, in my opinion. the only thing it leaves out is the wisdom rubies from the ice tree, which if you never plan to touch pvp, you could ignore burnout and get them.

if you're wondering why i picked up r1 pulse, it's so you generate lightning entrophies to make use of conduit.
