My name is Scavenger ,Guild :Eminence , lvl 55 ,
Wardens use pets to fight and support them with powerful healing skills ,unlike summoners ,wardens can't survive without their pet .
So it's like your pet is Warden's best friend , I love my Pet
1-Low skills cool down (most used skills )
2-High pet DPS (higher than summoners' minion)
3-Have perfect skills for PvP also PvE
4-Effective healing skills and dont forget the AV & AE skills ( more info coming up )
5-High Survive abilities with the new rubies change
6-easier to play than other classes , and very flexiable in PvP , PvE , and Builds
Wardens' Disadventages :
1-Low armor (although they use leather)
2-Long CD of Renew and AV/AE
3-High MP skills cost
The changes for Wardens in this patch :
1-Increased all skills mana cost
2- Bark shield now have new icon (new updates below)
3-Changed some skills description
4- Alchemist potion components are now stackable up to 100 in a single bag slot.

Warden's ability Tornado now correctly interacts with Warriors under the Charge effect.
- Damage dealt by abilities of some Wardens' pet is increased.
- Damage dealt by Open Wound effect increased. Additional damage dealt by Warden's Ruby Severe Wounds decreased.
- Vulnerability effect and Warden's ability Exposed Weakness have been removed.
- Damage dealt by Warden's ability Vortex decreased by 60%. Ability now creates maximum 5 stacks of Static Charge on any level. 1, 2 and 3 (depending on Vortex level) stacks of Static Charge are instantly applied to the target. Each next cast of Vortex grants 1 additional stack.
- Warden's ability Vortex no longer reduces enemies movement speed.
- Disbalanced effect now reduces enemies' movement speed.
- Each stack of Static Charge increases damage dealt by the next Warden's Lightning spell by 20% and increases current spell's mana consumption by 20%. Any lightning spell (except Vortex) removes all stacks of Static Charge.
- Warden's Ruby Acute Pain now increases damage dealt by Rip! to targets that are affected by Pain Shock effect. Upon fade, Pain Shock effect deals Poison damage.
- Warden's command Shred! now deals Poison damage instead of physical damage to targets that are affected by Pain Shock effect.
- Warden's command Grab! and Maul! apply Open Wound effect even in the case of a missed attack.
- Warden's ability Hawk's Strike applies Pain Shock effect even in the case of a missed attack.
- The duration of Warden's ability Storm is now 3 seconds at any level of the ability. Casting time - 2 seconds. Damage varies depending on ability level.
- Now maximum combo in Warden's Ruby Combo Strikes lasts for 2 seconds. Cooldown duration stays the same.
- Monk's Way Ruby increases damage dealt by all melee attacks.
- Now enemies cannot cast spells instantly when being affected by the Disorientation effect from Warden's ability Bee Swarm.
- Warden's ability Tornado no longer decreases enemies' movement speed but stuns them over the effect duration (3-5 seconds, depending on ability level).
- The 2 missing Warden's Rubies Blade Turner have been returned.
- Warden's Ruby Survival Instincts is now triggered by all incoming damage, but with a decreased chance.
- Warden's Ruby Channeled Lightning no longer requires special weapons to be equipped. It also now decreases the cast time of Bee Swarm and Nature's Grip.
- Fixed an error where cooldown duration of Warden's command Grab! differed from other pet's abilities.
- Now Healing Balm works on both the Warden and their pet when used.
- The effect from Aura of Ferocity is no longer removed from Warden's pet for no reason.
- The channeling usage of Lethargy Potion and Aqua Morte can no longer be interrupted by using other abilities afterwards.
- Healing from the third level of Warden's ability Renew increased. Cooldown increased by 100%. (1:30 ,mins)
- Warden's ability Static Charge is now increasing damage from Tornado and Storm properly.
- Warden's Ruby Acute Pain now properly increases damage from "Shred!" by 50% to targets that are affected by the Pain Shock effect.
so , basiclly , a huge amount of changes , u should read them to see what u should u do now , never the less , i think we can work this out ^^

So after reading the new changes i made this build.
It's a pve/pvp build with 2h weapon spear, and i use +67 talent point (+1 from path of the great , or u can get it from scrolls)and +56 rubies(total) (+2 from the great mage diary,51 when you get to lvl 55 , 2 from GT , and 1 from path of the great )
All % are equal to the aquired skills Rank
Searing Pain build PvE+PvP)( caster)
so let me get this clear , old fashion combo has gone for good , or at least that what i think , the old hybird (SP+Exposed weakness) since they removed the finishing touch (Lion blow) , so i'll take caster and see what happens later

incase u have greatness ,u might think smart like i did
what if we take the Confusion Pot for the PvE build , craft some and change back to PvP ,
in early patches we could do that , so Dev thought " hey that's OP , we need a warden nerf" so , if u craft the pot then change build u can't use it , this works for Confusion Pot , Lethragy Pot , Aqua Morte
so now you know , !!
so the build is like this :
is useless , DON'T TAKE THAT RUBY , only if u want to waste 4 rubies in PvP build ^^
So lets the talent grid:
-Lightning Strike: This should be rank 3 (as well as Lightning Flash), it's essential to any build so we can get off-balance effect (33%)+(60%) chance to get OB effect if you are Effected by
-Maul: This also should be rank 3, so we can get Mangle(coming up),if the target is Affected by off/balance effect OW will be applied (Open Wound) , with new patch even if the Pet misses , the target still get OW
-Boar's Blow: I choose rank 2 , to get the rest of talents and less CD , because it's not essential . With this ablility u can knock down and OB your target. Good skill for any build.
-Great Hunt: Rank 3, it's a must for any build. Increases your pet's damage by 40% and he's threat generation rate by 70% in rank 3.
-Renew: Rank 3, very important in every build . Heals you/pet and your party for 10 seconds ( You can increase it's effect and duration if you take support-based rubies). You can use this when your pet goes to the ethereal plane, so he can back to the fight earlier.
-Aqua Vitae: A must in every warden and should be rank 3. Mostly know as "beer", restores 37% health and mana, thank's to the rubies.
-Bee Swarm: Rank 3, a very useful skill for pvp. Inflicts damage, and disorients your traget for 4 seconds, and last longer (50%) if u use on open wounds effect.(can be used in PvE as well , but not recommended )
-Aqua Morte: Rank 3, other skill very useful in pvp. It makes the healing recived by target reduced by 50% , if u want to remove the effect u need 3 casts of purification spell or Antidote , if the target has OW the effect needs 5 casts and antidotes
-Lightning Flash : Rank3 , upgraded version of Lightning Strike , more damage , and has 33% chance to get OB effect , 100% chance to get the target OB when u have Lightning link (after a successful Shred)
-Grab(Mangle): Rank 3, an upgraded version of maul. Your pet's main damage skill, if your target got off-balance effect u get double damage and 100% chance to give open wounds effect.
-Vortex: Rank3 ,must have if you are doing the SP build . have a 100% chance to apply SP effect if the target have OW effect.
-Aqua Eternus:Rank3 , an upgraded skill of AV , restores 50% HP and 33% MP ,must have that too (PvE)
-Rip : Rank3 , not useful for PvE as it used to be , because it doesnt have the same effect as Shred anymore , so i would take this rank 3 for PvP since it silence the target for 5 secs (more info coming up)
Aura of regen : Rank3 , general speaking i hate this skill , so i dumped it last patch , but now since Rip SP combo gone , i took it , very useful while in parties , restores 10 energy ( for energy classes )and 1.2% of maximum mana every 8 seconds while active.

LvL 52 skills :
• Chain Lightning: Rank2 , ( for PvE mostly) Inflicts damage to the target and all enemies within a 10 yard radius, then affects the next target in the same way. Up to 5 targets can be
affected. Consumes 3 Tears of Dragon. Using Tears of Dragon of a higher quality increases damage dealt by Chain Lightning.
• Rip up!: Rank 2, (PvP only) Commands your pet to attack the target. The pet inflicts damage every 0.5 seconds for 2 and stuns the enemy for 0.5 seconds. Consumes 2 Tears of Dragon. Using Tears of Dragon of a higher quality increases the duration of the ability.(PvP skill)

Wolf's Blow Grid
Enhanced Reflexes:Rank 3, increases 100% chance to dodge of you and your pet. (*Rank 2& 3 in the 2 other grid)
Primal Inspiration:Rank 3, increases your wisdom by 5% each rank.(15% total in rank3 )
Bark Shield: Rank2 . not as it used to be , defensive skill, increase your armor by 35% (rank2 also increase magical resist ),while this effect lasts your spell casting will not be interrupted
one disadventage is that it decreases all incoming healing 50%, so if u want to use it while in bad condition i suggest use healing 1st (natural balance , AE/healing pots/Martyr ...etc ) then use the effect , try not to use self healing while the shield is on , so u dont get less healing
Blade Turner: Rank 1, increases your chance to parry by 35% each Rank ,
Aura of Ferocity : Rank3 , Decrease your armor by 30% and increase all melee damage delt by all party members , affect melee skills and Pet skills
very useful for grinding of astral runs , u can drop it if u think u r too squishy or undergeared , not recommended for newbies
Exceptional Balance : Rank3 , increase your agilty by 15% , each cast of pain shock decrease the Cd of Bark shield by 9 secs
Lightning Strike Grid
Feral Instincts: Rank3, increases you and your pet endurance by 15%.(5% each rank)
Lightning Master: Rank3 ,increase the DMG of all your lightning skills by 12%
Medley Mastery: Rank 3, increases 15% each rank the effectiveness of Aqua Vitae, also the duration of Refreshing Potion(You get it for a World Mystery) and Lethragy potion , a must have.
Channeled Lightning: Rank 3, decreases the cooldown of your Storm , Tornado 30% when you using staff, spear , decrease the cast time and mana cost of vortex , nature's grip and bee swarm by 35%. Must have that too
Force of Nature: Rank 3, increases intelligence by 15%
Confusion Ption :It's a PvP skill ,(not useful for PvE) ,your target receives DMG per any spell cast for 20 seconds or the next 3 spells (if you dont want it keep the ruby for later use)
Honey Wine: rank 1 , decrease the CD of AE and AV by 5% each rank , useless in most times , just getting it so i can go further with other rubies aka (bridge)
Nature therapy : Rank3 , very useful in PvE also Astral runs , increase the duration of renew by 60% in Rank3
Nature's touch : Rank2 , increase the effectivness of Renew by 15% each rank , also instantly heals the target for xx when using renew
( if you dont have enough rubies skip the Renew rubies for now )
Severe Wounds: Rank 3, a must have for all builds increases your damage from open wounds by 100%
Using(Ethernal Calm): Rank 3, a must have for all builds. Increases the pet's health and energy regeneration by 35/70/100% while in ethernal plane.(very useful when soloing Red and Blue rings so your pet come back to combat more quickly)
Dirty Paws: Rank 3, increases the damage of your pet by 9% in rank3
Innate Rage: Rank 2, increases your pet's critical damage by 14% , it was 40% in early patches
Thrill of the Hunt: Rank 2, increases the duration of Great Hunt by 40%. Another must have.
Acute Pain : Rank3 ,deals damage when searing pain effect fade , or do XX extra amount of damage when using Shred
Shred: Rank 2 (My favorite !!) , commands your pet to attack the target and inflicts DMG (physical damage) but if the target is effected by the SP effect the DMG will be way more than (poison damage)
Nature's Grip: Rank 2, a spell very useful in pve and pvp, slowdown the enemies by 80% for 20 seconds.(can be prepared in advance)
Bestial Synergy: Rank 3 (you have the second and third in Maul grid), your pet gets a 25% chance to increase your luck by 15% for 20 seconds(Rank3 ).
Battle Training: Rank 3, decreases the cooldown of pet's spells by 10% each rank., with Rank 3 its 30%
Luck: Must have 55-70% (with bestial Synergy) in battle so u can have more chances to deal critical strikes.but generally speaking 50% is good for PvE , u need more than that for PVP
Perception: Should be 25% or lower, meaning u have better less chances to miss your attacks., but i feel more comfortable keeping it at 20% decrease
Wisdow: Should be 20-25%. Wisdom now determines the effectiveness of healing and offensive attacks.
Intelligence: After u balance your other stats , spend the rest of stat points here , more intel more damage,
Playing Tips :
Before the fight check if u have the Nature's Grip is prepared in advance.
The skill rotation i do with single target:
(Always use Great Hunt before any fight )
1-LF, so i can get the OB effect
2-Mangle or Maul to get OW effect
3-Vortex to get SP effect
4- After the SP is on the target use Shred to get the LL effect
And so on ,
in short words : OB--->OW----->Vortex---->SP---->Shred
In case your pet's loses aggro , use Nature's Grip to slow down your target and keep running away from it
1- Most important thing is , u should always follow your own build , try many specs , use water of death , keep trying till u find the way u feel proud of ur build
2- if u are a new player here , i suggest u read the rest of the thread (coming up !)
3- to be honest , i didnt like this new patch , many skills nerfed , skills gone ...etc , so we left with crap skills , hopefully we might still have a chance
4- confusion pot : dont take it if u dont have greatness , u want those 4 rubies in other places
For New players (stick around ) :
so after reading this post , u might say , "y didn't he explain the other talents and rubies" ?
well , most of these rubies and talents not very effeciant or used for melee builds , which i dont use ^^ , used to caster builds , but i'll explain the none taken talents
Tip : y i dont take melee build ? , since am squishy and die fast , y would i get closer to the target?? to die for example?
other players still prefer melee builds , sure no problem , pick what u like
1- Lethragy Potion : brews a pot that when used on target make them sleep for 40 secs , can only b used on targets with 100/80/60% health and above , u prob wont have time to use it in a pvp fight since the 2 secs cast time , anyway the blessing remove the effect from target , so not useful in pvp , good for pve
2-Chmop : consumes 15% of pet energy , the pet speed increases by 100% for 6 secs , AoE damage , but not that much damage that u want to waste talent points on
3-Storm : cast a storm in a 10 yards radius , lasts for 3 secs , AoE damage , never the less , long cast time and mana cost is annoying , low damage as well , so stay away
4-Hawk strike : mostly used for melee warden builds , inflect damage and drain targets mana if they use mana , have additional effects in rubies (wolf blow section)
5-Bear blow : like Hawk strike , used for melee builds (not good with that kind of builds)
Aoe damage , 5 yards range and radius
6- Lion Blow : inflect damage , single target dps (also melee build )
so , let move on to leveling builds for new players :
dear player , u have chosen a nice class , with nice dps , heals , pvp too ,
so after reading the talents discerption above , we come to the build discussing
at level 55 u'll have 66 talent points and 51 rubies , lets get them on board ^^
so this is the build with basic stuff , bark shield very useful in some cases your pet is in ghostly form or u can not cast your spells because of interrupt
anyway again Aura of regen is not lethal , but i just took , u can take any other spell if u like ^^
to be honest , am not really good at pvp , since am under geared and get 1 shot by OP imps hehe , anyway here's some few tips u can use :
1- Mage :
warden's worst enemy , to deal with him , u should have dispel pot , use it to remove the stone barriers and /or reflections , and u can kill him :
enter combat , use LF and Mangle , get close to him and use boar blow , keep spawning mangle ,till all barriers gone , ur target now should have OW , use vortex and Shred him
so if reflections of his pops , use dispel and use Confusion pot ( if u have ) if not keep dpsing as usual , never the less , use Rip so u silence him for 5 secs , while silenced use Shred combo ,then Rip up !! , he will b stun lock ^^ continue with Bee Swarm , another great stun
, watch the burnout buff , no heals well help , here if u have Holy shield from a healer reinc , u use it and then heal ur self , bark shield next u still have a chance xD , use nature grip to make him stuck , and dps again with Shred combo ,
Bards give hard times with their stun locks and de-healing effects , they'll prob start with the stun and fear thing , use martyr protection , since u r close ,use Boar blow , mangle , vortex and Shred , while waiting for Shred spawn some LF , Mangle and ur doing good , Shred again , use Bee Swarm /Rip up for more advantage , bark shield when needed , remember to keep distance from the bard
very very annoying . keep moving along never stop , if they r ranged try to keep distance around 5 yards so they cant use ranged spells , if u were getting hit by rapid fire use bark shield as soon as u can , keep kiteing and moving , spamming LF and mangle , use vortex and shred if u get a space , using Bees and Rip up very effective , so use them carefully , and if its melee scout , keep the most distance u can , since they have around 25 yards range for Speed Attack and SoJ ( from a paladin reinc) so around 40 yards and u r good , if u were knocked down , use martyr protection and bark shields incase they r casting Flurry of blades or Blade storm , after bark shield fades , use ur heals
1st of all , cc their minion with nature's grip and get away from it , start spammin LF , mangle , Boarblow if they r in range , so u can remove the blood aegis , once aegis gone use Rip , then do the Shred combo , they will hit u with VI , so use bark shield to avoid that massive damage , Rip Up , come in handy too , so after that u can cc them with Bee swarm when u have a chance while u kite away from their minion , try to kill him with all skills u have , and when he start healing , OW and Aqua Morte , dps with Shred when that happens so he wont get a chance ,
again key is to kill as fast as u can
Start with Rip , then boar blow/LF to get off-balance , Mangle , vortex and Shred , use nature grip to keep his pet away from u , when he start healing use Aqua morte(if affected by open wound ) , Confusion pot really good option here , if u see that u gonna b hit by shred u can : cc the pet or bark shield up ^^ , remember to stand still and move away from pet once needed
warrior r pain , so avoid them mostly , keep kiteing , nature grip very needed here , make them stuck and use Shred combo , if u see them using charge , use Fear (summy reinc) or bee swarm and ur good , while he run in fear , u can use boar blow for more cc's
key is to avoid (just like warriors ) if they r melee or prevent them from breaking barriers ( if holy ) , they will prob start with seal of silence , just get close and use boar blow , mangle to get OW , so get away now and do vortex then Shred , they will start breaking barriers , use Rip up , they hopeless now , use aqua morte when their health drops to 50% or less , they might heal up with their healing spell , use Bee swarm for more cc's , use bark shield when ur health drops because of holy and DOT attacks
as for melee do like in warrior post , keep kiting , when they use that skill which increase damage and less energy for skills , cc him immediatly with Rip up/nature grip/bee swarm ,since they hit way more than normal , if u couldn't cc him , use Bark shield
its very hard to kill a Full healer , but u can give it a shot , save ur cc's till thier health is around 50% , get Ow and Aqua morte , then use Rip Up/bee swarm once needed
as for melee healers , always keep some refreshing pots with u , since they can slow u down with holy Rage effect , once ur slowed down , use the pot , get away and spam Nature's grip so he get stuck xD , u can do the usual Shred combo now , dont forget that LF might slow him down as well , maintain distance , 30 yards r good , if they get close by any means , bark shield up , cc him again and run to keep distance
they r a bit squishy but they hit hard , so try to kill them as fast as u can
most annoying class to pvp , since they have tons of cc's , so best way is to start with a silence to prevent mental link casting , while silenced use LF , mangle get OW , use bee swarm and vortex , Shred , at this point u might b a target for mental link , if so , DONT CONTROL YOUR PET , just cc the assassin with nature grip , kill the twin using ur spells not the pet's , y so? because your pet keep attacking the Psi even if he is invisible
once twin down , u silence the main again and keep distance
keep rotating the cc's and u will b fine
if your pet get cc's , by Hypnosis or what ever , use martyr , it affect ur pet now ^^
so after these PvP notes , keep in mind , u always have a chance in PvP , u r a good balanced class , mostly needed in astral parties and end game content , always b proud of what have u chosen , follow experts advices and most important , HAVE FUN AND ENJOY YOURSELF
Tip : caster wardens have a less damage than melee wardens but higher survivality than them , while in PvP , DON'T use Vortex unless u have openning or under bark shield effect , since u only spam LF , Mangle ,Boarblow
again dont use AE/natural balance /Renew while bark shield is active , 50% less healing is deadly
so when u try to get a reinc , think of those listed below :
summoner for fear effect ( PvP mostly)
healer for holy shield ( PvP + PvE)
mage for magic and stone barriers ( all cases )
Scout (not common ) to get recoil (good to escape hard combats)
