Lords of Destiny [4.0] :: All End-game Healer Builds

Fully updated. Still might revamp this. Just lacking creative ideas to make it better.


Hello fellow healers,

If you are a newbie, read no further and go HERE.
This post is not for you yet. Come back later when you are done with the basics.

For everyone else, here are all the builds i mostly use. They may or may not be best. I did the best i could with the rubies and talent points i have.
Warning ! Use these at your own risk. I will not be responsible for your loss of resource or your inability to play with the builds properly.

Stable build :: Hybrid Melee-Caster Versatile :: LINK
A general purpose build.

Stable build :: Hybrid Melee-Caster Pure DPS :: LINK
As title says.

Stable build :: Full Healing PvE :: LINK
As title says.

Stable build :: Full Healing PvP-PvE Hybrid :: LINK
Variations can be made, but i prefer this.

Semi-Experimental build :: Caster DPS :: LINK
Experimental build, works as intended but not viable for serious end-game yet.

Stable build :: Hybrid Melee-Caster PvP :: LINK
Still experimenting a lot of PvP builds. This one is not really the best. Might be able to make better so will update later when i do.

Stable build :: Hybrid Melee-Caster Farming :: LINK
Herp-derp AoE farm.

These builds are to give support to players who hit end-game and need suggestions. Exact copying of these builds are not advised and i will not be liable for any loss of resource. Player is supposed to know healer class by now enough to make their own build which is suitable for them based on my build suggestions.

im new with healer, which MH build to choose? what are the differences between those two?

Substantially MH is PVP oriented and FH is more useful in party/raid.
With the first build u can kill fastly (and be killed as well) while with the second one you almost can't be killed but killing mobs take very long time.
A CH is a weird hybrid and can be fun playing that build although runes are raccomanded.

With this patch CH is not weired hybrid anymore. It seems pretty OP at end-game. It is also a very nice combinations of survival, leveling and dps in my tests. Im still working on the best stat combination for this. It is working well with stat setup of mage. More tests are ongoing

faith percp wis and some int is a good stat combo for gear from what im using atm

Heya,
I've been playing a healer for just about 2 months now, crit caster, and I'm curious about something. First off, atm its only 32 (been kinda lazy lately), so I haven't had a chance to experience any heroics or anything even near end-game. I'm wondering why your builds (and builds i saw prior to patch) never include res? Not being able to use in combat was, to be honest, a major reason I didn't take it at first; but now i've found its somewhat useful.
I've also always wondered why every build seems to get r3 of shield? Does it have a better use in heroics/end game? I had r1 prior to patch, and now have excluded it from my build completely for now.
Last question: Purification, exactly how useful is it for non-pvp? I can see the possibility of its usefulness for pvp, but have yet to find a use for it for pve or even dungeons up to TT1.

To be truthful, I've never understood the big difference between caster and full healer. I've always built more on the healing side of my grids, trying to work out a perfect blend. I know (at least pre-patch) that what seemed to define caster builds was excessive/primary use of smite, is this truly all that seperates casters from FH?

Most wont take the rez cause when you get done with tt2 you get an aoe rez and a 20 hour cd rez. so in all reality you just waste points taking the rez in the talent tree.
Holy shield is nice to have at r3 cause of the duration time. 12 seconds don't seem like a long time but it is long enough you get yourself healed.

Purification is very useful in heroics as well as pvp. Anything that will fear a party member you can use the puri on the person affected by it. Very much need in DBC when you are fighting the shadow otherwise you will kill your tank when healing.

A full healer depending on the build they take normally don't rank any thing up over r1 except for of course cleansing flame normally go r2 with that and the healing at r3. Casters have r3 in the holy blast and heavenly smite then rank up the healing as much as possible.

Hey Nikkarae,
Thanks for that. I was unaware of the aoe rez you get after TT2, that does make sense then...Feel like a complete moron for forgetting about fear, guess I'll be throwing purification back into my build. hah.
I can see the usefulness of shield, but I'm still not sure if it's right for my playing style, tbh. Perhaps I'll snag a WoD and play around with it a bit more...see if it fits me right.
Guess I was just a confused caster, as far as my build goes. lol I had holy blast 3, yeah, but I didn't rank up smite.
Definitely appreciate the clarity, nikkae. I'd assumed the only real difference between a FH and CH was smite, guess i was half right? LoL Definitely going to take suggestions to heart though.

ps: russian talent calc seems...off...how many talent points/rubies will one end up with at end game? (Assuming they finish all the world mysteries available) Via the OP's threads it looks like he's got 50 in the grids..is that right?

I like the caster healer tree. It ensures i will have monopoly on being the dominant caster around.

Note: The last person I accepted as a student and trained level'd his caster healer in 7 days, 16-42. It was a worthy experiment.

* hides experimentation notes and buries them in a deep deep hole never to be seen again. Too dangerous to release.
