Newbie Questions

Hi there.

My bf and I have been in search of a new mmorpg to play when I stumbled upon Allods. We used to play Forsaken World, and to me, Forsaken World was pretty good, so it's hard to find something equally good and interesting. We only quit playing because.. Well.. Level cap is 80, and we were 77 and 78.. We kinda got bored.

Anyways.. I generally play a healer, and my bf plays a mage. I just wanna know what are the differences of the Alliance you choose? And what's the differences between the races.

So far, I'm considering The Empire, and being an Arisen Heretic, while my bf would likely choose the Sorcerer. So.. What are the differences between Inquisitor and Heretic (Or the other ones under The League) And what are the differences between the Sorcerer and the ones under The League?

There isn't much difference with races, it's just racial abilities, which is only one skill and normally not a very important one. You can read about the racial abilities in the class guides. Just pick the race/faction that you like the best. Healers and Summoners are the two classes that can be full healers, but both of them can also be specced as strong DPS as well. Since you seemed most interested in an imperial healer, Arisen Heretics can temporarily increase their healing by 20% with their racial ability. I play an Inquisitor, and have a CC removing spell... I've never used my racial at all. But you might want to check out a summoner for healing as well, they are good healers endgame.

Mages and healers both have good class guides you can read on the archetype forums. They've added a Xadaganian Mage, btw.

The factions are just different ideologies/appearance, and you can't communicate ingame with members of the other faction. League are bit medieval Russian fairy tales and Empire are Communist steampunk. XD
