question about codex of knowledge(i'm pinoy)

hi guys im just new to the game and i saw this codex of knowledge that doubles the xp for a specified amount
do many people use this item? is it worth it?
if there is a player from Philippines out there, is spamming this item expensive for our currency(php)?

For your first character I would recommend against buying the codex of knowledge. You will level to fast through the low levels and not have the gold needed to buy your rubies and rep gear. There are a few dead zones where you run out of quests but if you grind through those with daily quests you will be better off even though it takes longer.

If your planning to spend money in this game go for the crystal chips to make runes. This will make you more powerful as you level so you can get through quests faster.
